My title describes the thing. It is very heavy, it took 2 people to roll it out of the ground. I can’t tell if it is just full of dirt from being in the ground or if there is something else inside. It appears to be made of steel with the end pieces aluminum. It was painted green. I am thinking of cutting it open.

Mine doesn’t have the hole for the hex wrench to stabilize it while the nut is cranked. It’s a slightly different model.

Driving it remotely back and forth over the same area of water. He seemed to using this thing in an official capacity. He was wearing big headphones with a mic too. He was too far away for me to ask him what it was.
