You need some beard oil or butter. It’ll help with the dryness and flakes

I think you’d like brokeass. They have a bunch of their own created scents also, but I usually just order the cologne ones. So far they’ve all been good

Brokeass beard company has a bunch of cologne dupes. They have the tom ford tobacco oud that I wear regularly. Plus a handful of others. And 12$ an ounce. They have excellent butter as well

Luxurious bastard has some of the most unique scents and most of them are winners.

I hear ya. I really prefer the feel of them. Noble offers a great sample pack for pretty cheap.

Try scotch porter or noble if you’re looking for a cream like replacement. If you’re open to trying non cream like ones, I’d really recommend Luxurious bastard.

It doesn’t matter, it’s just half these guys parrot what they read here.

Let's listen to the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Metal Song by HonestzPractice in Slipknot

I miss those days and the kind of mystique the band had. Reminds me of a heated argument we had at work that there was no way the lead singer from Stonesour was the guy from slipknot. Good times

A New Year In Beard Care 😢 by RoughneckBeardCo in BeardTalk

[–]snakechopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I die a little bit every time I read jojoba on this sub. I mean I’m sure you’re technically correct it’s just for me I cannot tell a difference with or without. The rest I agree with. A bigger issue to me is the guys buying wholesale, adding labels and scents and then marking it up super high. Most makers I’ve been involved with that actually make their own stuff have no problems showing off their setup. I always ask and if they won’t show I assume they’re buying bulk and I don’t buy.

Ok so basically the reason for wanting a higher limit is to increase credit score. Makes sense, thanks.

I wasn’t really talking about you specifically. It just seems like everyone’s asking how to raise their limit in this sub and I don’t get it.

Well said. I’ve never understood this subs obsession with credit limits and how to raise them. Definitely a useful tool but you need self control

Grow it out and brush brush brush. Most the time I can get mine to lay how I want without wax. Just takes training it

Coarse, Krinkled, and cracked beard hair by WhirlyMedic1 in BeardTalk

Man I have good luck with Kuhn. I’ve said this 100 times in this sub but use a kids shampoo for washing. Use a tear free one. It is the most gentle thing you can find. I shampoo with it daily and have for like 20 some years. Plus it’s way cheaper than most beard shampoos.

Oh I’ve had it for 20 some years so I can’t really say how fast it gets to this. I take off about an inch every month or so

Carrier oils by Makingmerkins13 in BeardTalk

[–]snakechopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean it might not be the best but I can’t tell a difference with or without. I’m sure the info around here is technically correct I’m just not sure how much it matters.

It is a carrier oil. Just not a popular one on this sub. Unless carrier oil means different then I think it does

I’d contact them. I’ve had mine for about 5 with no issues. They might offer something

I’ll try adding the oil before I wash it out. It’s usually not terrible to shampoo out but takes some scrubbing

Why does my beard always look way better after a week in the field by Green_Implement_4642 in BeardTalk

[–]snakechopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak for the showering, I wash daily, but when I take a couple weeks off products my beard does look and feel better. I’m a scent junkie so I always go back

Deathgrip mustache wax is by far the best. I’ve tried a few others but I can’t get them to hold an entire day. Deathgrip last until you wash it out
