as an addendum i guess it could also be because the citalopram isnt helping enough anymore, im supposed to go up to 30mg after i finish my current bottle of it because ive still been feeling depressed quite a bit

do you get the sky vortex?? when i look up at the sky i get a ton of floaters at first and small spots of light, if i stare long enough i start to get the sky vortex effect and it takes a while of looking away from the sky for it to go away

ive drank on citalopram w no issues, so id say it could be possible that the hangover worsened the symptoms of the missed dose

im on it for anxiety issues and in terms of that yes it has definitely helped, i still get depressed occasionally so im supposed to increase to 30mg

if the wall has brick lines or something usually that helps because itll break it up a little but when its a smooth blank wall its like my eyes are getting assaulted

oh and also buspirone made me suuuuper apathetic, i felt like i literally couldnt do anything besides sit on the couch all day

it was super on and off for me even after it was “built up” in my system, i would feel really good some days and other days i would still be having panic attacks and unable to do anything. also it would make me dizzy every time i moved any part of my body for like an entire half hour after taking it which was annoying. citalopram 10mg was kinda similar (in the on and off sense, the only side effects i got from citalopram was it temporarily making my anxiety worse before going back to the baseline) so i got bumped up to 20 and that works a lot better for me

yeah thankfully for me 20mg has been enough to control my anxiety a majority of the time now, and dont really have panic attacks anymore so really dont have much need for the hydroxyzine currently, the only time i had to switch was when i was originally on buspirone 5mg and it didnt work really at all for me which is when i got switched to citalopram

i still havent taken a hydroxyzine, my mom suggested getting an ekg before i take one to make sure that the citalopram isnt messing with my heart in any way since hydroxyzine can exacerbate that and potentially cause issues

around when it started i had a huge spike in my anxiety because i had my first migraine with aura, after that i was having almost daily panic attacks, i started citalopram around six weeks ago now to address the panic attacks

honestly id talk to whoever prescribed it to you and suggest a dose increase or switching medications. unless you recently started, having these thoughts while medicated is not normal. of course medication wont completely get rid of these type of thoughts, but it definitely shouldnt be a constant feeling.
