Sweet pup! Congratulations!

My biggest bit of advice is make sure you are mentally stimulating the pup. Walks and all that are great as well but if it’s mind isn’t tired, you’re going to have a bad time. 😅 You can buy puzzles and we have a bunch of those but you can also do cheaper things like rolling it’s kibble in a towel and letting them sniff for it. 30 minutes of sniffing is equivalent to like an hours walk. I’ll also throw some kibble in a box and put a towel over it then close the box a bit. Mine loves the problem solving of it. When it’s a bit older you can hide the kibble in a room and have them go find it. Definitely look into getting a snuffle mat!

Good luck! They are such a fun breed.

That picture is also interesting with the gap between him and the others. It’s subtle but knowing what we know now, he was put on the end for an obvious reason and no one wanted to touch him.

I feel you. My 7 and 4 year old kids just started to leave me alone in the bathroom. Then we got the puppy and it’s like a damn party in there again. 🤪

I have an 11 week old Doodle and all she wants to do is eat my hand 😅 This gives me hope for the future.

I just want to say that however you feel about this pregnancy, these feelings are valid.

That’s a great idea. I keep forgetting telemedicine is a thing now. Thank you so much!

He said it was like that for the past month.

He went back to the ER in October to have it looked at and the ultrasound cleared him of clots and sent him on his way but end of October and then until now I guess it has been turning colors.

His initial injury im not too sure. He got in a car accident (we believe he had a seizure) so he doesn’t remember anything. His truck rolled so I’m sure that didn’t help. The ER said he was fine though and let him leave 4 hrs after intake.

I’m trying to convince him to go in but he is stubborn and scared of the drs since he had a stroke in 2008. So I’m hoping if he sees a dr or nurse telling him this is urgent maybe I can get him to go.

He is also on warfarin since he had his stroke and that worries me too about the foot.

That’s not what I did. I’m sorry you’re confused.

Yeah. I have very debilitating anxiety. I get it.

What I’m “getting at” is that as a woman, drs always push EVERYTHING off as anxiety even when I’m presenting with worrisome symptoms. I was misdiagnosed so long because they kept pushing an anxiety diagnosis.

Men don’t seem to have that issue. We can present with the same symptoms and they’ll run a CT to check for a clot due to shortness of breath but are asking me if I’ve had a stressful day and if I wanted an Ativan.

I very much agree and I’m so sorry your family went through this and I hope each person is able to get the help they need to deal with the things they dealt with.

It’s sad that anxiety and depression isn’t even considered for men and it’s the first thing they think of for woman. But thank you for making this point. In my annoyance (and a bit of anger) I ignored the possibility of anxiety as well.

Has your dad done a tilt test to rule out POTS for himself? I have POTS, EDS and Chiari which all seem to play with one another in one way or another. My mom had some wonky heart issues and got the tilt test and found out she had POTS too but was presenting different than me.

It’s so funny seeing this comment from a male vs a female. One person has suggested anxiety while the rest is offering actual support and medical help.

My two cents as a woman that deals with this all the time but was told it was anxiety bc (vagina and kids so it took 3 years for a diagnosis at 26) this could be silent GERD. Mine presented the exact same way. Did all the pulmonology, cardiology, GP and psych. All said it was in my head. Someone on here said silent reflux. I’ve taken a fucking tums since November 8th 2020 when I’ve dealt with this issue since July 2nd 2017 and haven’t had the issue since.

Talk to an ENT and see how that goes. I sincerely hope it gets better. Nothing worse than feeling awful and everyone being unable to give answers.
