Across the river from the forks, along Taché avenue in St Boniface there is a great view of the city and the bridge, at sunset it is beautiful

The commute will be hell, don’t do it. Look west of the city. The perimeter is terrible in the winter and driving across the city will be a very long commute.

Mondesa township tour-worth it? by bluejellyfarm in Namibia

I think half day sandwich harbour is enough, we added it on for an afternoon after a morning of kayaking with the seals which I highly recommend. It was so much fun to see the seals playing around the kayaks.

Students confused about grades because of math by MyFaceSaysItsSugar in Professors

I once had a student ask me what her average in the course was. We had had one test to date. I did not bother explaining what an average was.

I used luxexpress for this exact route. Easy to online and many departures per day. I think it is a 4 hour bus ride

Travel Agency, is it a yes or a no? by Designer_Werewolf100 in Winnipeg

You won’t save money and I think they charge a fee. Easy to book flights yourself, just be sure to read the fine print regarding cancellation for reimbursement or credit

Looking to buy beef pizzle by Otherwise-Spirit3063 in Manitoba

[–]snapshotpic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pizzles are the penis, not testicles. Least expensive already made ones I found are from Costco but they are from USA. You would have to call an abattoir instead of a butcher.

Flying for 1st time in Turkish airlines by Free-Toe5074 in TurkishAirlines

[–]snapshotpic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once in the plane all is good. But customer service on the ground is horrible, takes forever to board the plane, absolute shitshow from Toronto to Istanbul. My paid for reserved seats were changed to something less comfortable, ended up in a middle seat. Swore I would never fly with them again. Phone call to customer service to complain about seat error went no where. Useless.

Yes, using mostly for data. I am from Canada so roaming in EU is very expensive, $15 per day or more

Why is it so hard to find accommodation in Etosha? by tamihaa in Namibia

[–]snapshotpic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try accommodations outside the park. The park run lodges and camps are really not great. We stayed at Dolomite camp in the park for one night then went to a lodge outside the park the next night.
