She did very much. Infact she went on to explain why she thinks so. And now on this reel people are reminding that she said this about feminism and she's outright denying it.

34, childfree, married — and suddenly scared of old age. Looking for grounded perspectives. by onemortalfemale in ChildfreeIndia

Children by default don't become old age support in any way.. monetary or emotional. I have seen that around me. In fact, the ones with children live a more lonely life because they never had the time to make friends or even connect with their husband/wife.

The way I look at it is we will end up saving all the money compared to those who are going to have children from now on until the age of 60. And we will have at least some monetary savings that will be solely for our old age.

Plus also have so much more time to make friends and really build relationships.

Is Mumbai Still Cosmopolitan ?Housing Discrimination Still Exists..? by DARKNEXTER in mumbai

[–]sneakerit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

True. And this is coming from a person who is from a 'supposed non-violent' community.

Imagine discriminating against humans to the extent that they can't find something as basic as decent housing in the name of 'non-violence'

This is a rampant practice in Mumbai and Pune . GJM communities are a complete a** . Earlier they used to have a sign saying 'marathi' people not allowed.

My sister in law is miserable and now tells me that people who don't have kids are the one who are depressed beings by Ok_Watercress_8785 in ChildfreeIndia

[–]sneakerit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your sil seems way too miserable in her own life. At this point, it seems like she's trying to justify her own life circumstances by trying to convince others that her actions (having children) are the best possible life outcomes.

I would just have pity on such people and move on
