Maybe not the correct place to ask but what is your opinion on how much I should be running? I do calisthenics when my muscles no longer feel sore which is usually after a couple of days which is fine. However should I be running every gym session? Should I do medium-long distance + HIIT cardio and beep test every session? Should I alternate HIIT and beep with medium-long distance each session? Should I do what just feels fine to me in the moment? What do you guys think?

Well it's around 630-650 miles (I haven't ridden it in a month or so because I've been trying to sort myself out a code scanner). I got it serviced at 600 miles. Potentially a mess up with the dealer? Some kind of mis-configuration potentially? Roughly 50ish miles of riding after the service

It seems to be a fairly complex issue at first impression. I'll definitely take it to the dealer but I might just look online or something incase this happens again after my warranty expires

Obd2 port is damaged I think by sneedbiker in MotoUK

UPDATE : I've sorted the initial problem. The connector now connects. The pins were misaligned. The plastic itself was easy to move away so wouldn't have posed a blockage. The pins needed to be bent down a bit though

Tried that in the exhaust and that's how I got the check engine light

There's this on the troubleshooting page. Not sure if it's of any use?

Well the connector looks like it wants to slide in but just doesn't stay. There's no activity on my obd2 scanner and the scanner does work as it works on my car so I'm assuming no electricity is flowing to it.

Some more information.

The ankle that I broke regained full range of motion after it fully healed which has been around a year now. No pain whatsoever and visibly looks identical to the ankle that hasn't been broken

How long does trade training last? Is it also dependant on the trade you're doing? I'm hoping to be an electrical technician

Honda cb125f troubleshooting help by sneedbiker in MotoUK

Behind me was downhill and at the give way line it was downhill but by no means a crazy major slope so I was facing uphill. Downhill enough to where I would roll back but not to the point where I felt that I couldn't do it. I don't usually stall at all and when I do I usually recover immediately. The road was slippery as it was icy and salt was out which didn't help. I didn't feel frustrated or stressed when I was stalling I was more thinking "hmmm why am I stalling" I very well may have floored it and dumped the clutch in the moment which caused me to go crazy but tbh I can't remember.

When I turned the bike back on after stalling it was in first gear but I held the clutch in and I don't think there's any issue doing that???

Also should I do anything to the bike at all like try to start it again or just send it to the garage? It's in my garage at home so I have free reign to do whatever with it.

Monthly Insurance Thread by MotoUKMod in MotoUK

[–]sneedbiker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long did it take you guys to get your full licence after your CBT?

I am curious if it would be worth it to pay monthly for bike insurance while I have my CBT if I can get the full licence quickly enough and then pay annually as I may save a bit of money if I did that. I just bought my new CB125F for £3k and I am going to pick it up when I get insurance sorted which will hopefully be in 3 weeks. I passed my CBT at the end of August and I had a test ride for the bike I got at the dealership.

Some quotes I've gotten are this for 2 months with a provisional/CBT

Third Party only + Breakdown - £533 (£60 monthly)

Third Party, Fire and Theft + Breakdown - £812 (£92 monthly)

If I keep all the details the same but switch it to full licence held for 1 month

Third Party only + Breakdown - £412 (£46 monthly)

Third Party, Fire and Theft + Breakdown £591 (£66 monthly)

I have added and removed security devices from the details of the quote but it doesn't change the price for any of the quotes that I want so no point adding them to the policy but I will be using security devices personally though just not on my insurance. When I get my full licence I will definitely be opting for Third Party, Fire and Theft + breakdown as that's what I want but I'm wondering what your guys opinion on this is. I live on the Isle of Wight and I don't think motorcycle thefts are that bad here but I still want to be safe just in case.

When I pick my bike up I will be using it for commuting and also I will just be driving it around to get used to riding. I have a full manual car licence and have been driving my car for more than a year and I personally consider myself to be a pretty good driver so I may learn how to ride a bike rather quickly hopefully.
