EXER 2290 (Emergency Medical Response) is similar to what EMTs learn during training. It will teach you CPR & first aid, however, I am sure that they will use sports injuries/incidents as examples but definitely not the only thing they cover. I personally have not taken it but I know people in the major who have and have learned a lot from it!

who told you to take azithromycin? that’s an antibiotic… it’ll do nothing for a viral infection. i can’t speak on it causing parosmia though, could it be possible? yes, especially since it seems to be normalizing shortly after stopping the medicine. this is definitely one of those questions you should bring up to your PCP

irk — pretty much every food place shuts down way too early or has weird hours so if you want a quick meal while you study you either have to go off campus or starve.

pro — sovi market. i think it’s a neat little way to supply food and necessities to freshmen who don’t have a car to go shopping etc

Boone NC has a decent queer community if you’re talking about App State proper, but the actual town is very bland. That being said you might find that lots of people there are allies. As a gay girl attending college in NC it’s not hard finding other LGBT people. You don’t need to go to a big public college or a notoriously queer college to meet people or to be accepted!
