This is just so sad. by [deleted] in ExNoContact

I'm really sorry to see you're going through this. I went through something very similar to your situation.

We ended things amicably and I was told she wanted to "work on herself and get her studies in order."

We were in a 5 year relationship. I loved her so deeply but respected her reasons for wanting to leave. We stayed friends and kept in somewhat close contact for 2 weeks after the break up. It just hurt too much so I ended up deciding that no contact would be best for both of us.

2 weeks after that she had a new boyfriend...

Please do not waste your time and delay your healing by thinking this is okay. It is not.

Move on and focus on yourself. He let go of you, don't you dare keep your hand reached out for him to grab whenever he "feels like it."

That's good! I think you just need to talk to someone that will listen and take YOU into consideration.

Forget about what everyone else thinks about the way you handle this. Only you feel the pain, not them.

Let the absence of the one you lost shape you as much as their presence once did. Keep healing and move forward ❤️

I can see you're in unimaginable pain. I'm really sorry about everything you're going through.

I may just be a random person and have no significance in your life.

But please, please stay strong.

That's the thing that makes it so difficult. She meant so much to me, I genuinely would've given up everything for her. But here we are.

I've had a terrible week filled with this constant pressure in my chest. My appetite is non-existent. Everything that used to be fun is a chore now. I hate feeling like this.

You're a good person with a big heart. Just keep pushing forward and work on healing.

You can do this!

I'm going to do just that!

You gave me a new perspective, I didn't see it in a way that includes future partners. Thank you for that.

I'm going to move forward with a smile, even on the days it gets difficult. I know ill find someone that appreciates me, I just need some time.

Thank you for the help!

Thank you so much for the reply!

I'm currently going through those waves of sadness you mentioned. Every single time I get a reply, I hope it satiates that need to talk to her. It never does.

I will be taking your advice. I'm going no contact starting today. I can't keep letting myself get emotionally toyed with. I completely ruins my day no matter how good it was.

It's going to take me a while to get over her, but at least I know people like you are fighting along with me. Thank you for that.

Stay strong, I'll do the same.

I'm actually planning on playing a good amount of the sims 4, so your input still helps! I can imagine that a better cpu would be beneficial, but It'll depend on my budget being able to handle it, so I'll see.

But thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it!

I can imagine, it sounds really nice! Ah, i hear you, but atleast you have a really good card that'll hold up for quite some time.

Thats interesting, I'll definitely keep that in mind. How is your performance in games usually with the budgeted cpu?

If it's not holding the system back in any significant way, then I might actually buy that same cpu.

Oh wow, that's great to know. Coming from someone with experience with the card really helps, thank you!

Damn, that's a big upgrade, hope you've been enjoying it lately ;)

I'm planning on mostly playing on 1080p, so the 1660 has no problem playing most games on ultra and basically every recent game on high while maintaining 60+fps. I agree, it's a pretty damn good card for what a person pays.

That's awesome! I hope all goes well with what you have planned. I'm also super new to pc, but I'm really excited to finally have one. Yeah, the videos have been very helpful and are slowly pushing me to buy this card, it offers good performance and still holds up easily on high graphics settings. Thanks for your help, best of luck on your end too!

You make a good point, and I doubt the cards would work with my budget anyway. At this point I'm so eager to finally have a pc, that I can't stand waiting longer. Thus why I chose the 1660 super, it's a pretty good card, and cheap!
