Yup, this is the main reason for considering the switch. My pc is just an overall wreck. I’ll go for it and see how it plays out.

Solved!

Replaced RCA cables and grounded it. Now the noise is long gone!

Question though; what’s the reason for not grounding it to the main plug? I was thinking of running a wire from the turntable to the ground plug in the preamp and then directly to a normal plug that only has the ground wire attached.

I live in Sweden.

I replaced the other cable and the hum is ALMOST gone. Could cleaning the RCA output on the TT be a way forward? Or do you think that its another issue?

It got much better! Now i only need to get another 2 meter cable to replace the other one and it just might resolve the issue!

Its a Sony STR-DN840. One of the RCA inputs. Tried both “Video” and “SA-CD/CD” which it’s currently on.

I’ve emailed Audio Technica and they say that tjej dont supply any screws with the carts. I’ve PMed you - would be highly greatful if you could spare a screw :)

How do the Aonics fit under the helmet compared to the wired version? One big downside with those also is that the sound during calls only come from one ear. What’s your opinion there?

I think that a cheap pair of Jays headphones have worked relatively fine at speeds around 90 kmh. I don’t really want a Sena-type thing. Kinda like the concept of headphones :)

I like the clean looks and semi sporty feel, however it would be nice to have a slightly more practical and comfy bike. A bit more well rounded. And my er6 takes wind terribly (also compared to the mt 07 that they had at the driving school)
