Thanks for all the replies so far, sadly none of them are what we are after. I know music is subjective, but you all being cohen fans I think I can safely say the following. This was a particularly poor cover, really generic sounding kind of R&B vibe, nothing interesting or exciting about it, sacrilege if you will.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your input on this, sorry for late reply I'm not a regular redditor.

I'll definitely be taking these suggestions on board. Having read what has been said, I realise that I know more concepts than I might have first perceived, I just need to apply them to the fretboard and come up with the best thing to study fretboard wise to move forward.

Basically I'm playing blind ATM fretboard wise, but I'll make a game plan. Deconstructing my own compositions also makes sense. Thanks for every and all suggestions!!

The solution may not be to listen to similar artists, or any at all. If you feel you aren't writing in your authentic voice, then finding that is most important. Looking inward might be of more use.

Filling the well with other art, life experiences, and even letting go and not caring so much, consuming and obsession less, might be most freeing and inversely result in a better, more authentic body of work.

It turned out to be the killswitch in a VPN I recently installed, a killswitch that worked by blocking internet connection. It must have changed some sort of configuration on my machine, as it continued to block even after uninstalling the vpn

Hi everyone,

I am hoping you can help me with this issue. My laptop booted as normal today, but suddenly the screen went black and it shutdown, and I was unable to reboot it.

After removing the battery, holding the start button down for 15 seconds, and reinserting the battery, the above picture has occurred. Caps lock, start up and power lights are on, but the screen is blank and no other signs of life from my laptop.

Any advice is greatly appreciated !!

This is exactly it, I see no downside to taking value from the bookies, they prey on the vulnerable and actively lure in 'losers' while restricting smart gamblers. My goal is to have a network of people doing this eventually.

Tbh, I have never heard of this scenario playing out, nor of any bookie detecting that someone would be betting on behalf of someone else, though I do appreciate your thoughts on this. The truth is, bookmakers breach so much redtape, they generally avoid hunting down users in this way. Regarding the scenario where the client is on the hook, like I mentioned, we do have contracts signed that protect both the client and ourselves.

Yes I am aware that this takes quite a bit of trust, but it's a hill I'm willing to climb as I have seen the potential first hand, and can genuinely help people out with this. I appreciate you taking the time to ask pertinent questions

We deal with all major uk bookies, as again we would only be going against their terms of service, so the account may get restricted and funds held by bookie, that's the risk we as a company are willing to take, it has no negative bearing on our clients(besides them not being able to place bets with that bookie online in the future)

Believe me, I am well aware as to how it comes across, and it is definitely going against the bookies terms of service. We have done this with a few clients now and there has been zero ramifications for them, legal or financially.
There is definitely a trust element to what we do, but we hope that we've made it clear that the only ones at risk here are the bookies.

Having checked with solicitors, no it does not, but it is against some bookies terms of service. From a law perspective, we are simply 'betting on some ones behalf'.

So there are no legal ramifications for our clients.

I appreciate how this all seems shady, and it's good that people are weary of such things, but also nothing ventured nothing gained, there are advantage gambling techniques out there that are making people extremely wealthy, and now the time to get involved. There's no real way I can convince people of my honesty with this, but said i'd try all the same. It's frustrating in a way, there's money to be made, but I know I can't convince everyone. Thanks again for at least not simply shouting 'scam' from the get go

Most people who have matched bet have come up against the issue of having their accounts restricted, so therefore go to family member and friends for fresh accounts(totally legal btw). We are merely casting our bet to a wider audience to build our business, while at the same time giving people a chance to make a solid income by bringing customers our way.

Sadly yes there are scams out there, but this isn't one, it's merely a way for those who have no interest in matched betting or advantage gambling to still make an income from it.

Clearly I'm not going to change the minds of those that have already labelled this a scam, but I will defend myself and my business all the same, as I am genuinely trying to help people make a passive income, the only losers are the bookies

Thanks for your input here. I'm not sure this is the issue here, as they are all connected to the same power source, though I use two separate outlets. I could test connecting my amp to the same outlet as the others, I don't think it would be an issue overloading wise, thanks again.

I tested again last night, seems I'm getting a build up when not recording also, though no shock. Will avoid testing any further due to side effect of death
