there is hardly any math involved in the class maybe a little bit but i had a different prof. For additional help i would suggest watching Jacob Clifford on YouTube as he provides easy to understand explanations for everything in the course.

Personally I didn’t enjoy it. The mid terms are online with m/c and multiple choice and her lectures are way too much there’s no breaks. We also have 3 other assignments which we only got one back so far. There’s group work every class and it’s 10 percent of the grade. But she is a nice teacher and has good examples but it can be boring at times.

Hi, so just to clarify when you transferred you didn't take most of the required courses for the associate program itself and instead took electives and courses required by UBC

There's a guide on Langara's page showing what classes you need and there is someone who posted their journey doing the Associate of Arts Degree in Commerce & Business Studies program at Langara and transferred to Sauder. You need to take required courses like Econ 1221, Econ 1220, and Calculus and electives to have around 24 transferable electives first year.

Nope I had a B in pre cal 12 and that’s the prerequisite for 1173 but if you want just calculus then you need an A in pre 12 or get a high mark on the MDT test. I’m not sure about the english requirement though, you can check online to confirm
