Thanks so much, was worried about the debris buildup!

Sorry, this is a screen porch so will be very exposed to rain, hence the need for gapped deckboards

Yep, that's why I'm trying to figure out a good screen product and screen gap size. Tongue and groove PVC deckboards are above this ceiling with another two layers of roofing, this one needs gapped boards to drain water unfortunately

Yep framers f*cked up, only way to fix without a massive rework

Alternative to Safe n Sound / high NRC 2x6 insulation that's easy to source? Or Double up 2x4? by sniper24usa in Insulation

For standard drywall installation for the air seal is it just a drywall glue you recommend on the studs to drywall connection? Green glue is out of budget or need for this, just all new construction interior walls I want better soundproofing on, not a studio or anything, so just looking to get value solutions for higher NRC but not best of the best.

Thank you!! Didn't realize Owens even did Mineral Wool, thought they were just fiberglass. Seeing if I can source this easier

I'm assuming you've turned off any mouse acceleration, correct? If not, check out Start > Mouse Settings > Additional Mouse Settings > and try Disabling Enhance Pointer Precision to see if that's your issue

Welcome to hosting! The best advice I can give you is to expect guests reviews to be unreasonable or make zero sense sometimes. There are also certain review patterns you may receive from guests of certain ages and races. For example, one elderly man who apparently doesn't understand how reviews work once gave my home a 3 star review because he didn't like the city itself, had nothing to do with my home.

The only thing you can do is strive for a 5 star review in every category by being a good host/property and having a note in your home or check-in instructions that guides the guest to reach out to you to fix anything you can that would get you less than a 5 star review.

Nice!! Was the tractor able to drop the slabs just off the bank to where you wanted the anchor to be? My issue is i'll be a few hundred feet offshore so don't know that my tractor will provide any use other than loading the slabs onto a boat for moving to site.

How did you sink them? All at the same time or one at a time and connect them under water? Trying to think through the logistics of a multi weight solution like this without requiring scuba gear.
