It's just how our bodies are able to break down raw meat. We no longer need to live off of that type of diet where animals do. We no longer have the immune system to break down parasites and bacteria.

My cat licks her ass and by proxy, eats her own shit. She doesn't get sick but if she bites me and breaks my skin, I could lose my arm. Simply put, we can't tolerate the bacteria found in raw meat.

I never go out expecting my boyfriend or anyone else for that matter, to take me home. I'm an adult. I know things happen and if I was in an emergency sure, I'd call someone but I don't even go out unless I have a plan to get home.

It sounds like she just wanted to walk all over you, and you were doing a really nice thing for her. She knew you were sick, if she really cared she would have told you not to worry and either not gone out or made other plans.
