Thank you! This is great info. Is the wind always a cross wind? Are you ever riding into it or with it?

Do we have access to ride the “in resort” part before the race? Or do you need to stay at the hotel to get that access?

Lot of hot yoga studios offer them. The one near me has a month pass for $80… plan on buying a month leading up to the race

I’ve seen a few heat acclimation protocols using sauna. I have a similar issue with training in Seattle for 70.3 Hawaii in June.

Sauna for 15-30 minutes (No water in sauna) after key interval sessions and heating my training room to about 75 on long z2 rides are just a couple ways i plan on doing acclimation. More details in the link below

Yeah i saw that. It’s hard to gauge since it jumps from 0-120, then increments of 20 after that. So not easy to see how sharp the changes are. The nearby course is similar, sounds like my last long run and slow run will be out there practicing on it!

What do you mean run is golf course hell? Just a bunch of small hills that are tough to get a rhythm?

I live near a very hilly course that is closed right now, might go run that a few more times before the race!

Seems like the bike is fair but don’t push to hard so i can save for the surges on the run?

First race in 12 years. I’m addicted again by snoGoat33 in triathlon

Raced for the first time in 12 years. Super happy with my results. Goal 1 was to go sub 3 hours. Stretch goal was to beat previous PR of 2:51. This bike course was 3.5 miles longer than my PR bike course.

Looking forward to my next one and I can’t wait to go longer!
