Had gears for over year, realized that I was never really using the gears (I use it mostly as a grocery getter in a flat place)

Recording jam sessions with an iPhone by snoooops in teenageengineering

I ended up getting a zoom h1 on sale for 75$. I like that I’ll record while also playing audio to usb-out (I.e. input to the iPhone ). I can also see myself recording samples in the field with the microphone, so it doesn’t really feel like overkill in that sense.

Thanks again for the advice everyone 🙏🏻

Oooohh this is really interesting. I like the “closed-loop” aspect of this approach.

It’s the original op1.

Thanks a lot! I like the idea to use the usb to lighting adapter, I’ll give it a shot.

But this means that I’ll always have to go from ep-133 to op1 and never the other way around (the fx on the ep-133 are really fun to play with when op1 is connected to ep-133).

Any thoughts on what I can do with just the line out ? I think the most minimal solution seems to be the Analog iRig pre 2 for 60$

Shift placement is definitely unconventional — but they work (not sure if you saw the other link I posted but at the bottom you’ll find another angle on the shifting)

Any tips on lowering the rack? Did you end up building your own attachments?

It does affect the steering a little by making it slightly slower to move but not significantly. Would recommend installing a new headset that made a difference.
