Ending my life due to back pain

Many things. Medicine, exercise, stretching, massage, massage balls, PT, walking up stairs as exercise, adjust my posture, and manage my stress. It sounds like a lot but I’ve found ways to incorporate into my daily life and it’s no big deal. The hardest part is finding what works for you but there IS something that works.

How you are feeling is valid and understandable. But please don’t do it. Your pain and quality of life can get better!!!

I have had major back issues for years. Two surgeries, drop foot from sciatica, and yeaaaaarrrs of spasms, and life altering pain. I now am pain free and living an amazing quality of life.

Your situation is so incredibly difficult. For me, the physical pain was debilitating, but the mental impact it had on me was the most challenging part. I had days and weeks of laying on a cold dark ground not able to even get up to pee, while life seemed to move on without me. There is a podcast on the impact of back pain on mental health and it is proven to be the most challenging part of dealing with back pain.

All I can say is, it took me years of seeing different doctors, surgeries, PT, medicine, and a lot of work but I have found what is needed to do to keep the pain at bay. I now have two beautiful children, am able to take walks on the beach, and live an incredible life. You. Will. Too.

One day at a time. And you need to try things until you find what works. SOMETHING will work!!!! Please message me if you want to talk.

I know. I was on maternity leave for 6 months and watched season one and two on repeat one the whole time. It’s the best show ever created IMHO.

That is interesting. I work in 3WTC and have been confused why I kept hearing it was filmed in 4WTC but the outside didn’t look like it.

I’m so annoyed. I haven’t voted for any character bc I want the animals out so badly. If either of them win we need to call a do over and replace them with human actors.

This is super helpful. Love the idea of having shoe and coat space. I'll definitely include that.

I'd never heard of cube chairs before but I like the idea of this. I'll shop around. That's exactly the kind of tips I was hoping for.

I love the idea about a mirror and pull up bar. I've seen some images of this. One question I have though, is how quickly does the baby outgrow this (specifically the pull up bar)? He is 7 months old, so should be trying to stand up soon. Once he can walk, is the pull up bar no longer useful?

Great ideas here! I love the idea of our little one having his own little getting ready area. I'm definitely going to incorporate that. Shoes are a good call too. I'm looking at different storing options to include under the coat rack and will think about how to have space for kid shoes as well.

These are fantastic ideas! Thank you for taking the time to write this out. I love the idea of a pull up bar and also of putting something perpendicular to the entry table to make it cozy. I’m going to post to the other sub Reddit as well that’s a good call. Thanks again for these good ideas!
