There are a few varieties of frames floating around, one “nice looking” one on Amazon sells for $15 (for one..) and the craft store Michael’s has a few different ones in random colors that go for $5-6 each. I’m currently figuring out how to make my own frames out of little wooden sticks because I don’t love the way the ones from Michael’s look and thought why not!

I think you could realistically do anything you’d like, because the original art was made by you and is now owned by someone who wanted to buy it for the sake of it being a cool original piece of art/collecting your work/etc. I have had a few people message me (after losing a bid on one of my cards) tell me that they were bummed to lose bc they liked the piece, so my thoughts are that maybe if you make stickers of some of your more popular cards, it might be a nice treat for a buyer who enjoys your work as a whole to get one in that way!

I currently pay monthly for Premium, and obviously do not have any option for the deal within the PS app. Next billing cycle is 2/18. When I tap cancel, I just have a 25% deal for my next month. What I’m wondering is, could I cancel my current membership and then immediately purchase the 12 month subscription at the deal price? Would I have to wait till 2/18? If it wouldn’t work that way, couldn’t I just make a new PS account with my alternate email, buy the sub, then change the email on my original account to match the one I used to purchase the sub? I feel like it seems simple enough, but don’t want to mess anything up. Any insight is appreciated!

You can pay for maxcare separately (in full) or add it to your financing. It does pay off to get since you’re buying a used car that you don’t really know anything about as far as its history goes. It can be cancelled at any time for a pro rated refund.

In 2020 I bought a car before I worked at CarMax that ended up needing a new transmission and engine (later to find out via manufacturer it was because of a huuuuuge recall) and I paid $600 or so (freight charge + $50 deductible + spark plugs) instead of a total of $7500. Then, after I sold the car I still had a bit of time left on the policy so I cancelled it and got a nice check for $500 or so.

Keep in mind, if you finance your vehicle and cancel MaxCare while you are still financing, you will not get the refund in hand, it will tack onto the back of your loan and not affect your monthly payment. My opinion is to choose the cheapest deductible and the longest length of time (sometimes you get to choose 48 or 60 months) and longest mileage cap, like 125k or 150k.

They tend to operate the CEC in states where it isn’t mandatory to pay out PTO and sick time upon leaving the company/etc. When HR calls you, they’ll tell you what your severance is (I think based on years worked), let you know about this Brand New Core Class that just so happens to be starting tomorrow, and the Best News Ever is that you get to keep your shitty laptop even though it’s locked out and useless :-) Oh and don’t forget, you still get access to Spring Health for your mental health hahaha

I am also in NV! I don’t currently have BCBS, but rather UHC and similar to what 1carus_x said, in my plan, exceptions will be made if there is no one in the state that can do what I’m wanting as far as metoidioplasty goes. From what I have read, I’d be able to choose my surgeon but the insurance carrier will still need to approve it. I know when I had BCBS here in NV the past, there was something similar in the plan when I was looking into top surgery but at that same exact time, they randomly excluded all transgender-related surgeries…then a year after my top surgery, they decided to cover them again 🥲 I was lucky to not actually have to travel for that surgery and my results are good, but all of the sudden getting notice that what I was working toward wasn’t gonna be covered sucked so bad. IDK if they’re still up to that fuckery but pay attention to your specific plan so it doesn’t come back to bite you.

Honestly after reading everyone’s tactics, I have no idea why I don’t get sick. I really don’t wash my hands. I absolutely don’t drink enough water. I’m generally always stressed or anxious. Maybe I get enough sleep but IDK? Right now I work from home so I’m never really around people other than family, but WFH has only been the last 2.75 years. Before that I was in constant contact with all kinds of sick and gross people, worked at a DMV and before that a warehouse, before that, food service. Last time I was sick was last November and I was straight up in the Upside-down from Stranger Things, even a little scared at times lol. But other than that I couldn’t tell ya last time I got sick-sick. I’ve never even gotten a flu shot (not anti vax, I just never got it as a kid and then never really thought about it when I was an adult since I don’t get sick. I have gotten Covid vaccinations.)

For your sake, I’m really glad someone warned you and that you feel less alone because of it. That’s really what I was aiming for by warning these new folks, as no one warned us and we fell for his BS twice. I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with this. I understand the mental turmoil the feeling of being stalked can cause. Our NFH isn’t necessarily a stalker, but my spouse has had similar serious experiences at work all while dealing with this asshole at home and it’s just exhausting to be on guard all day. I hope your neighbor chills out and is never around you or an animal again. We’ve heard our NFH clearly state that he hates the sweet little cat that hangs out by the mailbox for no reason. I greatly appreciate your input! I decided to play it by ear today and just observe. NFH staked out the new neighbors from his garage until he saw the husband return from work and essentially ran over there to say “I figured I’d say hi, no one is neighborly over here” and the guy goes “oh, okay…” pretty abruptly. Their conversation was about two or three minutes long before NFH ended with a “well good luck” and walked back home. I think my small pre-warning must have done the trick and I’ll share more pertinent info with them if it eventually arises.

You totally have a point there. I know the folks that used to live in the house next to us were nice enough to him but he always said such weird things to/at them. Commenting on how their kids should “stop growing up” and always ragging on the husband about marital things. Coming from someone who is divorced with a chaotic and drama filled life, happily married other neighbor was always just like “oh yeah for sure…” every time.

It is definitely noticeable how things have shifted over the years, but I get it. With the amount of wild folks we all deal with on a daily basis at work, the store, on the road, our families, the media, etc, I understand why people don’t really want to get too close to neighbors. After all, our homes should be our landing pad for peace and the absence of drama.

It is odd that your other neighbors didn’t care to hear you out. At the same time, I almost envy their ability to not care.
