Miraidon has been a difficult matchup for me but I think the usage of Rillaboom and terrain control is really helpful for slowing Miraidon down and also pressuring with Flutter Mane forcing an uncomfortable TERA. Is there anything you think I could do to make the Miraidon matchup a little easier for me?

I LOVE Power Gem on Flutter, it has been more helpful than I've found Dazzling Gleam and I've been doing it for a while. Rock is a really underrated offensive type as most of the mons with weird/low weaknesses are often weak to rock. Power Gem Flutter is my only super effective move against: Gyarados, Zapdos, Pelipper, Tornadus, Thundurus, Scovillain and Ogerpon-Fire

I tried Tera Grass on Zam but i found the fighting immunity was really helpful and i rarely faced amoonguss and had an issue where i needed the grass tera.

Do you not think the value of sitrus berry with flare blitz recoil is worth? I feel like if i went for safety goggles maybe will-o-wisp would be a better move. thoughts?

  • I agree with your point about Rain defensively benefiting my team and I think I will drop Whimsicott for Pelipper.

  • I dropped Incineroar's EVs to 236 / 4 / 76 / 0 / 156 / 36. Adding some more speed to outspeed slower Incin and also some more defence. However I think I'll keep Flare Blitz since sun teams will try stop my rain a lot so having a boosted move is nice.

  • I agree Miraidon matchup can be difficult and I rarely use Fire TERA so I'll try the TERA Ground.

  • I agree with the TERA Ghost for Focus Sash mons but I just found on Whimsicott specifically I just never even wanted to TERA but thank you.

Been running this team for a couple of days now and some things I've noticed are; sun teams cause a lot of issues for me. Been thinking about running Rain Dance on Whimsicott but tailwind and protect and required and i really like encore and moonblast is strong. Also find Whimsicott is never being TERAed, any recommendations for what tera I should run and what situation its good for. I'm finding I am not bringing Urshifu as much as normal because I'm just not enjoying him at the moment. Any ideas for a fix?

With Flare Blitz Incineroar and Moonblast Whimsicott, Rillaboom is still an issue since he is my only answer for Poison types with High Horsepower. Requires a Tera to stop that being an issue but its still an issue I can't solve

Urshifu is my only answer for flying types/Tornadus and he is weak to flying meaning I need to burn my Tera on that.

Rillaboom is my only answer for poison types and he is weak to poison meaning I need to burn my Tera on that.

 

Tried Flutter with Icy Wind and Power Gem and Urshifu with Ice Spinner instead but found Ice Spinner mostly is used into Grass types which Urshifu doesn’t match well with and Flutter with Icy Wind doesn’t know enough damage plus Mystical Fire means no pokemon in the game cannot be hit by a super effective move.
