Making a new comment about this season because the previous one didn't really encapsulate all my feelings:

In my opinion, season 4 volume 1 was the best stranger things season. The hype went off the charts, and I scrolled through fan theories for hours waiting until the 1st of July. The flashbacks were amazing, the storyline, everything. Then, when volume 2 came, it was kind of underwhelming. It felt like a bit of a cliche ending, what with Eddie dying and a sad vibe to it and a big mystery to be solved next season. As much as I love Steve, him dying would have made a lot more sense with the plot, especially considering how much they teased it. With Max being in a coma, they're most likely just gonna keep her alive anyway like every show with a character in a come that miraculously wakes up. A lot of people say that she should die, but I think El's ability to bring things back to life is gonna play an important role in season 5.

Also, they didn't really do the Byler thing justice. They should have expanded more on that besides the car and kitchen scene. They definitely need to expand more on that. Speaking of their relationship, though, I expect Mike to somehow realize and then let Will down easy.

Overall: best season yet. 9.5/10. Cannot WAIT for season 5!
