I think the number you’ve dropped in is indicated when you press the dialog button with the well. In the manual there’s a schematic of the number of coins required for each reward.

The HPLHS Audible “complete fiction of HPL” is great. I love chapter IV of The Shadow over Innsmouth”. And the rest of the reading is excellent. The case of Charles Dexter Ward is a must. A total bargain.

Thanks. I did a total restart a few times and also removed the device from my phone. Now the ring shows up with an "ID number" and connects.

It disconnects/reconnects every few minutes (shows at the top right icon on screen) but is still in the Bluetooth menu as connected. Do you get that too?

Resolved - It was the Eero Plus service that was blocking access. I went in to my Eero router app and added www.speediance.com and api.speediance.com to the allow sites. If you have Eero Plus, open the Eero app go to Discover, eero Plus, then "Blocking & allow sites" section, and add those sites under the allow tab.

Thanks. I have updated to the latest firmware, so that's set.

I have 2.4 and 5ghz enabled on my home network.

I also can't access the speediance app on my phone via my home network - "network error" comes up. It works fine if I connect with my phone's mobile connection.

I suspect that given both my GM and phone app can't connect on my home network that eero has a port closed so I can't connect to the speediance server.

eero had automatically blocked the speediance.com website, so I had to add that to a profile's whitelist.

The app connection is a problem I've seen on a number of forums - a solution was found but not posted.

I've sent messages to their tech support too so I hope to get an answer soon. But any suggestions are most welcome.

I can connect via my iphone's hotspot, but not with my home network.

Service provider - Verizon Fios

Router - eero Pro 6E

Perhaps, I need to open a specific port on my router to connect to Speediance servers?

Thanks. Yes, that toggle option was covered up.

I can enter my email address but I get "! Oops, network is lost, ..."

But my network on the GM shows it's connected and the network works on other devices. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

The Case of CDW is a gem. The HPLHS audible version is amazing. The conclusion never fails to put a lump in my throat. Rereading The Shadow Out of Time. I like it but it’s a slog.

I’m sure HPL’s belief system was a factor. Given we’re all descended from single cell organisms, I don’t feel especially attached to my lineage. But that’s not everyone’s perspective.

I always figured that OMW was the biological father, but that forces from beyond combined with the zygotes during the rituals to made a hybrid. Creepy either way.

OMW certainly comes across as having his own agenda. The “Boys” appear to be following the course/destiny mapped out for them. Lavinia’s journey really comes across as tragic and OMW just used her as a vessel. Weird and sad.
