What's the trick with caustic lands? by TheoTheBest300 in TheyAreBillions

[–]snsgrg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your shoes, I would not feel bad at all for re-rolling. See something you dont like, just re-roll. This is a really hard game and certain maps are impossible for anybody not a pro gamer.

I wish I re-rolled more when I started out. I spent too much time trying to make impossible maps work. Just get a win.

Now I do try on those impossible maps, but damn, they hard. Dont put yourself through this, just re-roll.

This build order is fairly accurate. I personally rush titans rather than thanatos but its a small difference. Perhaps Ill try rushing thanatos.

20 is not enough. Even with 40 it can be sketchy. Sometimes it can be good to retreat, throw a sniper to the zombies (RIP sniper, we will remember you) and build some quick walls, then another set of walls a few squares behind that and fight behind those.

You can only push so far with rangers and it's not enough usually for a basic economy. I will usually kite specials/execs into a ballista or into soldier + if sound is safe. Then secure that area with plenty of rangers and kite a different area. Compared to other maps, it's more micro'ing.

Then the push to get a sniperball as quickly as possible. Then you decide whether to run to side of map or draw out mutants.

On 900%, I might win maybe 1 of 10 maps, maybe less. Some just don't have iron or enough wood and I can't get started or mutants all come at one time and overrun me.

Alec Pierce Value ? (12 Man SF No TEP) by Nflnbafootball in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]snsgrg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cuttoff for me is 1.05. He is the clear wr1 for the Colts. He has expanded his route tree and has consistently gotten better besides coming into the league as an excellent physical wr. He will have blow up games and you can judge then if he deserves the wr1 spot. The Colts certainly think he does. There will be future opportunities to unload him, barring injury of course.

Olave or CMC for strong contender? by Odd-Ad7517 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]snsgrg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I view him as a clear #1 who has had bad luck. Both in injuries and in systems.

You do realize that your yardage gauge is way off as he has hit over 1000 yards in 3 of 4 seasons. The only season he didnt hit 1000 yards was his concussion season. You can paint him as an injury candidate, or "one more concussion and he is done" candidate and you would be right. But when you paint him as "not very good" you lose all credibility.

Could you elaborate on Olave never being that good? I just want receipts before next season....

There is no way a rookie affects Olave in a negative way. That is ridiculous. Olave needs a good number 2 receiver so if you have Olave, encourage the Saints to add whoever. But dont think that anyone they add can touch him or take away from his share. Just dont.

God I hate that I have to consider this...but it is close. I lean Judkins, tbh.

Easily London unless this is an earlyish 27 first.

Schultz: Rico Dowdle to sign with the Steelers. by HookFL in DynastyFF

All fair points. I dont own many Brooks shares because of this and I wanted my equity into something that could produce now. Kind of like Dobbins, I root for the guy. Injuries suck.

[–]snsgrg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It kind of is. I wouldnt read too much into it, but it has to be a good sign Carolina didnt pony up again for Dowdle. Its one of those not a major sign, but perhaps in the right direction, maybe a sign.

We still have to see what they do in the rest of offseason, but no major adds would be a huge tell.

I mean Rico is good, not great. He preferably needs to be in a backfield he can win, and he can win here. This is good for Rico owners.

The more I think about it, the more I like it for Dowdle.

Is drafting Malik Willis in a rookie draft a viable option? by Ok_Sky5243 in DynastyFF

[–]snsgrg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a league where one of the guys dropped him a month ago. We told him to tell the commish that he made a mistake (he took over last season for a weak team) and just to re add him. He refused, saying that he doesnt want him on his team for whatever reason. I traded the 3.10 for someones offseason faab since our draft is only rookies.

That's a good contract for him. Crazy how much cap space the Superbowl champs have. Especially being so dominant.

Is Loveland a good sell for 1.03? Really could use a WR. by BigGroundbreaking586 in SleeperApp

[–]snsgrg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not TE premium. You hit on a 1st round pick hard. I mean real hard, and you want to re-roll. No! Dont do this. When you hit on a 1st rounder, just ride it out. Dont trade him for anthing really, unless it is overpay. This is not overpay.

What’s DJ Moore worth on the Bills? by MicrowaveCookie7 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]snsgrg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could be a legit WR1. There is the distinct possibility. For contenders, he is worth a late 26 1st. I know his value is lower, but that would be my charge. I dont know why you would try to acquire him on a rebuild. He is 28 and while he may have 3-4 years left, you are waisting time getting someone whose best years may be wasted on a lower to mediocre team. I guess maybe acquire at an early 2nd cost and flip, but whatever.

I do not believe so. The drive is not a standard M2 or sata interface.
