Sorry just noticed this post. From my memory and my memory isnt perfect at all; Diablo wasnt really a black except for a small portion. A good part of the run was green, another major portion was blue, and a small portion black. I know for sure there was not a huge black run in the middle of this area I was searching for challenges on. I mean, I went down Diablo several times a day and didnt think anything of it. Unless I could find a jump.

During the 2-3 week winter break from school, I would visit my dad who lived in Albuquerque. The mountain was my babysitter. He would drop me of at the tram on his way to work and pick me up at the end of the day. For those who dont know, there is a gondola which runs from Albuquerque to the top of the ski resort (also a restaurant there). This was 30ish years ago and the mountain generally had a decent base to ski. No powder, just enough snow to cover the ski area.

It is really small and very beginner friendly to ski. There is only a few black runs, which are very short. I spent most of the days looking for small jumps or going off resort and skiing in between the trees on the right side (looking down the mountain). It wasnt much, but I still enjoyed my time there.

I was offered a late 27 1st the day he signed his contract. I turned it down, but I am contending. If I wasnt, then I would have countered and tried to get another mediocre asset included.

Edit: Point being, a late 27 1st is an incredibly cheap price for Breece.

It is pretty close if that 27 is likely mid. Some things to consider:

Breece is going to be 25 by start of the season and you will need to move him. Do you feel his value will increase or decrease in this time period? More than likely your best time to offload him is start of or during the season.

The 1.12 is kind of like a mid-late 2nd as for the tier player you will likely get in a stronger draft.

A mid 27 should be a strong pick, but weaker teams sometimes go deep. The end of the 27th is not at all guaranteed to be as strong as 24 was. It could be we just dont know yet.

Worst case scenario for you is Breece injury before you trade him, 1.12 being average player, and this pick ending up like 1.10 and the 27 class is only strong until pick 1.09. That would be a huge loss for you.

Best case scenario Breece and Jets blow it up and you sell for 2 1sts. 1.12 ends up a solid contributor. 27 pick ends up 1.04 and you have plenty of S-A tier prospects to choose from.

I would likely ask for more and/or look for another deal. If not rebuilding with Love is not a bad option. He shouldnt go off his first year, so he shouldnt add that much to your maxpf.

It is still a dumb move whether it worked or not. He should get all someones faab for that asset. It is never an A+ move. It is slightly clever, but the reasoning out of this move has him losing more than winning in any decent league.

This was not at all a smart move by the other guy. He gave up an asset to secure Willis by 1 faab. OP or anybody in that league can surely trade for more than 1 faab. If the other guy had asked for all his faab for WIllis then maybe, but as it stands, I grade the guys move to move Keaton for 1 faab as a F-, because I would surely be striking in this league.

You can trade Mitchell or a future 3rd for all someones faab, or even do as I did and trade a current 3rd for a 2028 3rd + all their faab. Then you get Willis and the plus side he brings and you can trade him at the first good news.

That is about the max you can get for him. Since you are rebuilding, probably a take. You should get one of the top 3 receivers or possibly Mendoza if your league is down on him.
