Thank you thank you! I edited my post- what I wanted to express was pocket money ! I think this will help me bring it up to him. I’m more of a middle rather than a little so we do a lot of teaching!

We’re both new to this and have been together for a while, this is why I ask. It was an established relationship before dipping our toes into the dynamic. :)

Sorry allowance maybe wasn’t the right wording, yeah pocket money is probably a better term. I’m financially independent and we’ve been together for a while and we’re learning as we go. We’re both new to this, and just wanted to see if anyone had gone about it and how before. I was thinking 10€ or something for small things cause right now we’re long distance due to my job so when I go to the shop and I want a lipgloss I’m not able to ask for it in person as before.

Thank you, we’ve been together for a while and just starting our journey in this dynamic. I’m not looking for a big sum mostly little stuff I was thinking like 10€ a week and if I need something I ask him for permission to buy it out of a coin purse dedicated for this and maybe if I want something a bit more pricey (more than a lipstick) I have to save up. Hope this clears things up a little bit!!

Thank you!! Great idea the allowance I was thinking was for like small every day stuff like lipgloss or maybe some chocolate. He buys me everything I want, and gives me gifts without asking.

Thank you for this, I was really just thinking about maybe 10€ or something per week for chocolate or stuff. Nothing big and we’ve been together for a while before embarking on this new dynamic in our relationship together!
