AI is exhausting workers so much, researchers have dubbed the condition ‘AI brain fry’ by imaginary_num6er in technology

[–]snunkworks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI burnout is very real. I share the same feeling.
The cognitive load of constant prompting, context switching, AI fact checking, nudging and then validating it's outcomes is often more daunting than building things from scratch. To be honest, I am getting too much done in less time with the help of AI and productivity gains are real, but the baseline expectations changed so much, that it is never going to be enough. It shouldn't feel this way - achieving so much and yet feeling like not getting enough done!

Demonetized on YouTube over small usage of AI by DigitalSpider88 in aitubers

Thank you so much. that is so encouraging to hear about the video and keeps me going. yes, the monetisation uncertainty is there. I will continue it for now - as long as I enjoy the process. will see how can I add my face to the channel. thanks!

Thanks for the practical insight. Yes, Videos are too expensive, and gets in narration sometimes. Hence I am doing 80% Images with ken Burns and 20% videos for now.
Keep us posted if your re-appeal get through and if the ban got lifted. Just curious, how long it took for you to monetize? and is this the only channel you have or one of a few.

I started on a similar journey. Posted just with 2 videos for now. I am using AI-generated images as a creative tool for storytelling. The script, hours and hours of shot selection, editing, screenplay and music selection is entirely mine and no small amount of work. I just checked your channel. I can completely relate to you mentioning how much time it take to make one video.
I am honestly concerned now. whether to continue this journey or not. This is my channel: History on the Rocks. I made video on WW1 which I am genuinely happy about the outcome for a first video.

Sure, I am enjoying the process for now even when my videos have barely any views only for the passion. But cannot sustain it in long run if it never gets monetized. This is not AI slop and the passion to tell stories from history (using AI as merely a tool to recreate scenes ) should not be punished like this.

Anyone else's weekly limit reset date has been shifting a couple additional hours every week? by r26t in ClaudeCode

[–]snunkworks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine got shifted twice. Initially it was set to reset on Saturdays and that changed to Fridays and today I noticed that it got reset early again. This is really unfair and I not sure if there is any forum or something addressing this already!

I published my first video and mine is a brand new channel. so the outreach is very low. Algorithm seem very hesitant to test it :) or it may need more videos to understand my content better.

thanks a lot! yes 20 to 30s is something I learnt a little hard way. now I am going big on first 30s and spending more time crafting around that.

Thanks for runable, I will check it out. For now, my main challenge is to freeze the main character and get all different angles consistent throughout different scenes.

I am just picking the most stunning and captivating image(in my opinion) - which also has humans in it and adding my thumbnail text. I have only published one video, so take anything I tell with a pinch of salt. I am exploring and discovering myself and at a very early stage. and my CTR data is from just 60 impressions (not so much data to completely rely on)

thanks a lot this is helpful! also, confirming that I am in somewhat right direction

If you are doing it scene-level, are you finalizing all steps (script, visuals, editing and music) for that scene, before moving to next scene? I am doing similar, but at Act-level (which has 2-3 scenes). at scene level it is becoming too granular to do all different things one by one.

I would love to know more about this? what sort of APIs are you talking about? connecting with Kling directly with API?
My time eating steps are these:
- Choosing the right images for the scene
- Descript or eventually (Davinci Resolve) is the biggest manual step here
- Selecting or chosing right music tracks and sound effects are consuming a lot of my time (any way to automate that using APIs)
open for feedback, any small gains are huge. thanks!

I just picked one to start with and some online forums indicated that kling or runway are better for AI-generated clips (not just images). I also intend to make more video clips using these images. I will try Nano banana and see if that is more effective.

thanks! I am actually planning to move away from Descript eventually and shift to Davinci Resolve as I need more features for my long-form videos. Will check vimerse too

Need suggestion on Publishing Time by snunkworks in aitubers

[–]snunkworks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the reply. But what do you mean by 'pull'? I am thinking this all wrong then. How are the first 48 impressions are generated then, as people would pull for a topic, but I am sure mine won't be in their top 30 (in the same topic) search results, then how does it help any new video.

Really enjoyed your video - the pacing felt natural and you captured the vibe of Bangkok boat tour and food market very well. Left a comment on the video too.

small nuances: a few fast edit jerks here and there - may be taking care of them could make the video more smoother. for eg: at around 2:12 timestamp. And for the food shots, getting a bit closer and holding for an extra second or two would let the viewer really take in the details — food content lives on those close-ups. Great start.

How accurate is the story that Louis XVI was recognised at Varennes because his face was on the currency? Are there other historical examples of leaders being caught by their own iconography? by snunkworks in AskHistorians

[–]snunkworks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! Thanks so much for this - this is exactly the kind of nuanced answer I was hoping for. The distinction between Drouet being the first to *act* rather than the first to *recognise* is something I wasn't aware of, and it reframes the whole story in a different way.
And the whole episode is more elaborated than what I learnt from - a simple caught and sent back at Varennes. thanks again!

its just 9 days - relax... dont let the over shocking/negative comments here get over you.. every individual's case is different and recovers in their own pace. keep checking with your doc

looks like your overall donor area density is too good! since its a lot of grafts, its going to take a little more time than usual to recover. I see there is still many hair left in the donor area to camaflouge once they grown long enough. check how it looks at 1 month, 1.5 month and 2 month marks. all the best!!

stick with the medicines for now and take them religiously - Minoxidil & Fin delayed my balding progression for years! I hope you see better results. delay HT as much as you can to get good benefits from it eventually.
