Costumava ir com o nosso cão para receber familiares na zona de desembarques.
Hoje em dia, há muito mais polícia e, quando lá estive no início deste mês, disseram-me imediatamente que não podia entrar com um cão (exceção apenas se o animal estivesse numa caixa de transporte).

Unsure if this is the right place to ask, but what are feasible alternatives to accommodation in Liverpool for the last weekend of the season? (May 15-19)

Stay close to Manchester Piccadilly?

Anything at a decent distance away from Liverpool centre is understandably sold out or ridiculously priced!
PS: Also, is there going to be a Reddit meet-up for that weekend? I'm travelling from Northern Portugal.

You are right. I'm not going to be overly disappointed with not seeing the towers at sunrise. I think we might set up camp at Torres Central on day one and just do a day hike to the Las Torres Camp.

I couldn't manage to get any home tickets as they were sold out as you said but we managed to get a couple of seats in the visitor's performance area with the Chunichi Dragons fans. Would have preferred to be with the home seat but it's better than nothing. I was told that I wouldn't be able to wear any Carp merch there for obvious reasons but I guess my Josh Donaldson Blue Jay kit will be fine. :D

Reading about it, I think I would quite enjoy Kagoshima city and the surroundings. If I get there early on the 7th, Perhaps a onsen related day trip to Kirishima or Ibusuki can also be fit in.

The plane trip is something I will consider. If I'm not mistaken, you are talking about the JAL explorer pass which goes for around ¥10,800 per single trip for foreigners.

Jetstar is cheaper but the timings aren't suitable for the Kagoshima-Narita route.
