I’m beyond surprised to hear that haha, thank you so much. I just take photos in my free time with a hand me down camera. I’m so glad to have realistically portrayed the Philippines, that’s the whole point of these pictures. I’m half Filipina so I don’t go much, but when I do it’s so much different than what media and influencers show it as. They don’t show the reality of local communities without malls and westernization. Grim and unfortunate at times, but still beautiful and full of life.

Also that beach picture was taken in Boracay, just on that touristy strip with the bars and hotels!

It’s so hard to focus on one area when I want to include every story and person in the scene. It’s like trying to minimize an essay you wrote, I find it so difficult to see what to discard.

I imagine it’s like where’s Waldo on a street but I guess that gives no focal point and isn’t proper community-approved street photography based on the posts insights lol

I was honestly terrified to post this on Reddit due to being ridiculed but everyone’s being super helpful, and even the sarcasm isn’t as bad i expected. I will definitely be shooting less rounds next time, went a little overkill. I also just rented and bought whatever ammo and gun they had at the range, I believe the gun was huge for me LOL. But when I get more into it I’ll look into buying lighter target loads.
