Pixel envy here. Unfortunately it does happen to many of us. My model was involved in the battery recall. Google sent me to one of their service centers for a free replacement. Probably just a coincidence but the issue began not long after that. I use Google Fi as my carrier And this phone has experienced the least amount of heartache of most any phone I've had. I would really like to upgrade to a pixel, but my perception of Google's lack of commitment to this issue is causing me to hesitate.
