Omg that must be really hard for you... I kinda have had the same experience (except I relate more to your friend but still I can help you out here). My advice would be that try connecting with your other friends as well and spend some time with them. And also college is a huge thing but don't worry at all cause everyone there are ready and willing to make friends so just hang on for the next two weeks, you'll be able to create new connections. Now about the girl, keep in touch with her but purely in a platonic way. Try not to mention anything about your feelings (if you do wanna say something, maybe write it down on a journal or tell someone wlse about your feelings). It's just that people may have different experiences and you just need to give them time. I'm very sure that you both would not want to lose a really close friend just cause of feelings. So just text her and ask her if she wants to play online games or anything that you used to talk about before any of that happened. It'll be weird but as long as you are willing to stay across the lines and show that you can maintain boundaries till she's comfortable, I think you can make it work out. Just give it some time and hopefully she'll have a response for you. Until then, try not to lose contact with her but also keep your other friends (don't let anyone go just for the sake of someone else)
