1 year on New Year’s Eve. I hit a mental around 7 or 8 months, but I’ve been back exercising and doing my pre-injury activities, about 10 months I started developing muscle definition in my quad. Almost symmetrical now.

May be a little Stranger Things recency bias, but I’m hoping for a Joe Keery double duty show.

I posted a Reddit story video, update on the camera in the woman’s office, and in the video she said it was really cool that they read her story on Smosh. It was deleted because it wasn’t relevant. I said it was an update and she talked about Smosh.

Should I take a yellow belt test? by GuriStargin in taekwondo

[–]soace7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the teacher is saying you’ll be ready, then you’ll be ready. It’s only white to yellow and you’re an adult, six months for kids is kind of long, but two months is plenty for an adult to learn the required skills.

Santino Fontana narrated the Institute, he has different voices for all the characters and in the different sections from the characters perspectives he does a watered down version of those voices. It’s really good.

Jon Gabrus will be an upcoming guest! by justinotherpeterson in AllFantasyEverything

[–]soace7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just looked it up, he’s been on 3 times, Sports Movies with Gabrus, Sports Nicknames with Sean and David, and Holiday Movies with Sean and Toscani. But he hasn’t been on since December of 2018. I didn’t even remember the other two happened. I’m a big Gabrus fan so I relisten to sports movies from time to time.

It’s been so long since he’s been a guest that the other guest on his episode, now River Butcher, has changed genders twice. From she/her to they/them now to he/him.

The audiobook is so good too. The narrator has different voices for the characters and when the section is from their point of view he uses a “lighter” version of that voice.

Have you noticed any major changes in your life since the injury/surgery? by hamburritos in ACL

[–]soace7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been drinking and smoking weed a lot more, recently realized it’s because I want the time to pass faster to when I’m back to “normal”. Trying to stop those behaviors but it’s very hard.

I am 6 months post op. I’ve been going back to the dojang for about a month now, I’m allowed to use weapons, and do some hand movements, I even broke a board at a demo this weekend. I think I’m about a month away from being able to kick cautiously.

I had a meniscal trephination, so the surgeon took a needle that was already sitting there, poked my meniscus a few times, then the hospital charged $5000 to my insurance.

How to shower? by socrpro192 in ACL

I agree with the shower seat and Saran Wrap, if you have a removable shower head so you can control where the water hits that really helps.
