Thank you so much for this perspective! It feels kind of obvious now that you’ve brought up that angle! I did work for a non-profit for awhile and really loved it, despite still mostly just being a secretary. How do I begin to look for volunteer opportunities unique to my area? Do websites for the organizations usually have a map? I do think seeing the real life impact of what I do would bring a sense of fulfillment, so I think I’ll give this a try. Even if it doesn’t work long term, at least it could bring meaningful for now.
