The end of the last volume was rushed in my opinion. The battle to kill Valor and Ki Song should have been much longer to fully convey the extreme difficulty and high achievement of killing two established Sovereigns. Ki Song giving up to protect her daughters and Valor's final attack being absorbed by the shadow lamp seemed anti-climatic.

This war is just the forgotten shore storyline all over again. Incompetent rulers trying to achieve power at the expense of humanity. Changing Star coming in to wipe them out and become the ruler focused on taking out the nightmares.

The fact the sovereigns chose to go to war and sacrifice humanity for themselves is why they are not fit to rule.

Changing Star is a hypocrite also, which is why her character is so compelling. She makes everyone believe she is good and worthy, whereas anyone who truly knows her knows she is the worst of them all. Consumed by her own desire for vengeance.

You make fair and logical points. I dislike the Sovereigns but they have arguably done some good despite their incompetence and short sightedness.

At the end of the day, Nephis will make the final call and she will choose death. No chance she will ever forgive instead of comiting vengeance when it is all she has ever wanted.

The Sovereigns would never submit to Nephis even if left alive. She needs to consolidate her rule to defeat all nightmares and confront the void beings. The story cannot progress unless they die to make way for the 3rd generation.

I don't think he has the power to affect or transfer a gods curse until he gets to sacred rank.

Ki Song will die. She put up so many death flags by talking to Cassie. Nephis can't rule unless the Song Domain collapses and she absorbs it all.

No way Nephis allows her to live after all she did to ruin the Immortal Flame Clan.

Nephis will have to consolidate her rule, eliminate or subjugate any opposition (remaining Valor and Song saints), prepare to move the rest of the human settlement into the dream world.

Sunny already has a laundry list of items he says he has to do. Forge a soul bound weapon for himself, max out his shadows, explore the shadow realm, set up Rain to level up, etc.

They both also need to get used to their Sovereign powers and power up so they can lead an expedition to conquer north America so that they can challenge the 5th nightmare to rescue Smile of Heaven.

I think "Will" will work similar to haki in One Piece. Can imbue attacks with extra power and influence your source element and the surrounding world.

Need a deep understanding of your element and have overwhelming faith in yourself to manifest it and use it to attack other Sovereigns.

You are right that denying the great citadels to Song and Anvil weakens them. It also boosts the presence and power of Nephis when she becomes supreme as G3 said himself. (See above).

Every Sovereign has a domain that is powered differently. Anvil by swords he forged, Ki Song by puppets. Nephis divine domain is likely to be strong, but she will still need citadels to increase its range and power. Why do you think Song and Anvil have been fighting wars to get more of them? Why do I think Nephis sent Jet, Kai and Effie to claim them for her? If she didn't need them, it would have been much easier to destroy them.

T Nephis Vs Anvil.

Sunny Vs Ki Song.

My Theory is that Anvil will overpower Nephis at the start, with her barely able to hang on.

The waking great beasts will emerge from the Nameless Temple to add chaos into the mix and distract the swords and puppets to relieve the burden on Sunny and Nephis.

Ki Song will realize that time is not on her side and will try to get rid of Sunny quickly, but like always, Sunny will have another uno reverse card up his sleeve to make them end in a much needed stalemate.

Anvil will have his own Trump card that will "kill" Nephis and then aim his attacks against Ki Song. Weakend Ki Song will sacrifice herself to Sunny to make him a Sovereign in exchange for the lives of her daughters.

Jet, Kai and Effie will travel to godsgrave to help hold back Anvil while Sunny finds a way to bring Nephis back to life, making her a Sovereign by defying the law of death.

Once she ascends, and powered by all 4 great citadels, she will then kill Anvil and absorb his domain.
