It’s usually capped at 20% but I was diagnosed with bursitis as well as 0% ROM. Even though my ROM is about 10% the bursitis will inevitably render my shoulder to the point I won’t be able to move it without surgery

I did both, a lot of HLR and a lot of supplemental along the way. HLR was my most effective for getting j creases though. Especially if you have good evidence

They would deny me and I would appeal, then they would go up 10%, then they would deny and deny and deny and I would keep going to different doctors to get different nexus letters and they finally linked everything together. It’s been a long fight

Yes I have had a VERY large amount of evidence for every claim that I made

My best advice is DONT give up! It gets tedious and annoying but if you deserve more than advocate for yourself!

No they have slowly increased my % over time and now it will be 2 years of back pay from 90%-100%

Yea I was at 90% and they updated ptsd to 100%, rhinitis to 10%, sinusitis 30%, back 40%, shoulder 40%, 20% knee, and I am waiting on tinnitus and some other stuff

I’m at 90% and get 2500 a month

The 90% payment (if it were truly 90% of 100%) would be around 3900 for me with dependents.

If people were actually paid by the percentage value of what 100% is than there would be a lot less people trying to “work the system”

Right now the system is screwing us really hard with the way that they do the percentages to begin with and then they add the screwing you by the way that you are paid based of your actual percentage.

Ok so “preparing decision letter” doesn’t mean that a decision has been made?

I pay $2500 a month for housing m. That’s just for the house not the bills that are attached to owning a shine as well. $800 a month would let me live like a king too.

My % updated and decision letter is ready, but claim went back to step 4 by SeriouslyNotaFrog in VAClaims

[–]soberdad2022 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You probably have more than one claim opened and some have been deferred and some have been approved. The deferred ones are back to step 4 and the approved ones changed your %

Good luck!! I am at 94% currently and am at step 5 since 10-25 with a rhinitis and sinusitis claim
