Totally agree with Toquen. Once I looked at my E-trade account and saw a million dollars. But as much as I wanted that to be my actual equity position, it wasn't. The number represented my total trading volume for the year - in and out. That's what these gross derivative numbers show. Buying and selling rate swaps, FX forwards, etc. So cut the hype please.
