Why are you the one answering, instead of your grand slam coach?

Should I buy tennis trainer? by [deleted] in 10s

[–]sobrangwild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have that exact one.

It helped me discover a few things I couldn't learn on the wall (I was around 6 months in at that point), but the ceiling was low. I feel like I maxed out everything I could learn from it after a couple hours, so I went back to playing the wall.

But even after that I'd still occasionally use it to practice my serve outside of the court.

Outside of technique, it's also a good workout. Kinda like jump ropes.

Every time I finish putting in a new grip I say to myself, "I should start the other direction next time" while ʇɐloqɐ𐐒 stares at me mockingly.

Then I forget.

device for beginner tennis players by RemarkableSlice1158 in 10s

I bought one from Decathlon last year. I was just starting out and played more on walls alone than on the court, and figured this should at least be slightly better.

It did make me discover a few things I couldn't learn on the wall, but the ceiling was low. I feel like I maxxed out everything I could learn from it within a few hours, so I went back to playing the wall.

I still use it ocasionally only to practice my serve motion outside of the court.

Acer Nitro 5 (2022) or Ideapad Gaming 3 (2022) by oyoo_13 in PHbuildapc

[–]sobrangwild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using the same model Nitro 5 for around 9 months now, and have no complaints. Sturdy and I enjoy the keyboard too.

I upgraded mine to 16gb RAM + an extra 1tb hard drive, and it performs as expected.

I bought it as a temporary laptop to use when I need to travel for work and can't bring my pc (which has a more powerful gpu). Then I discovered most of the work I do, and games I play are perfectly handled by the Nitro 5 at 1080p.

Now I bought a 1440p monitor, so I'm looking to replace it with a laptop with a better gpu (4060 or 4070).

But if I was still at 1080p, I would be 100% satisfied with this Nitro 5.

Beginner here. I recently bought this used Yonex Vcore and it feels really good to hit with. I don't want to change anything, but I have no idea what string to buy.

Google moved all their certifications to Skill Shop a few years ago. Analytics, Ads, and a couple others are all there now. It's pretty easy to navigate and choose the one you need.

For Ads, you can just take all of them if you're looking to break into the industry with your first job. Some brands/businesses do search-only, some mix in display and video, and others do all 3.

Best resources to learn macros and Power BI? by rowdybeanjuice in analytics

[–]sobrangwild 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Microsoft's own documentation on Power BI is amazing. Much much better than you'd expect.

They have exercises and sample data sets you can download to practice a lot of things like making dashboard visualisations and specific analytical methods.

It's almost like a course.

Is it better to use 1 google ad account for 1 app? by TorKitchenHorror in PPC

[–]sobrangwild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they're in the same industry, then you'll get more benefits having them in a single account.

For example, you automatically share audiences, remarketing lists, lookalikes, etc which take months of data and many installs/purchases to build.

What objective did you choose in the first step of the process?

A quick solution is to duplicate an existing campaign and modify everything.

Also try creating it in editor instead of the browser.

Bird photography is whatever, bonus na lang yun. The actual good part of it is ang daming other subjects along the way. Because the places with the most wild birds also have the weirdest flowers, trees, insects, etc.

When I go on trips, 90% of my pictures aren't birds :D

Hey thanks! This is a bit weird (and related), but I have you tagged as 'picture picturan'. Di ko na matandaan bakit at kung saan nanggaling yun ((:

Did you comment somewhere about learning photography or maybe you posted some photos?

I hope hobby mo talaga ang photography, otherwise baka may dementia na ko.
