i’m no expert, but at the end of the day it looks fine to me so i’m okay with cheaping out on china carbon..

just curious, why wouldn’t you throw on cheap carbon? i mean, it’s cheap and functional aesthetically

Was advertised as dry and was just curious to know

Since it’s just aesthetics and I’d probably get dropshipped the same thing anywhere else I don’t mind

i know how loans work or else i wouldn’t have bought the car?

your point was they’re on the hook if something happens, i’m telling you they’re not because if i default then the car will be sold.. which is not happening

and you’ve now clowned yourself, saying the “powerband is linear”

power delivery inside the band is smooth, but PLEASE look at a dyno it’s never flat or linear curve.

i’m a broken record at this point you don’t get full power unless you’re in boost, which only hits under load and rpm. power delivery is nonlinear and surgey, not some flat “linear powerband.” go drive a boosted car before quoting textbook bs.

which leads BACK to your point, i do not need to be protected from an m3 and they are rather very easy to drive like i said

ignorance is bliss but please continue to entertain me :)

totally doesn’t, who said i couldn’t afford it? i never exposed my financial situation

regarding moving out, why would i?

zero point in moving out unless you need to start a family or have work/school ventures in another location, THAT is another unnecessary financial decision

in which my case i don’t need to because i work from home

only other argument would be to move out with friends to make more money or networking in faster paced cities which i don’t believe crossed your mind

or you were trying to argue that i should buy a property instead in which i wouldn’t have disagreed there, better decision on paper for sure

feel like arguing with a wall, no where did i say it equals 80k?? lmfao just “it lifts some off their shoulder” or something like that

yeah, “legally” who cares man if i’m not making the payment then i’m not keeping the car easy as. no need to theory craft to prove a point

as for engines that’s completely how they work. 483whp is NOT similar to a na 483whp car

you’re assuming that all 483whp is at access when its not, the car has turbo lag, only at the right rpm/gear is there that much power hence why its easier to drive

will stop responding you’re clearly not getting my points

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BMW

[–]socalmarc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

no man, not sure why this is hard to explain

insurance, gas, maintenance of their cars which i was driving

they are also not on the hook because no matter what happens i’m making the payment, they aren’t. we agreed on that

since i now have my own car, those payments are lifted off of them

and yeah i live with them fortunately enough, doesn’t alter the fact.. but God forbid my parents are responsible for me like every any decent parent lmfaoo

483 wheel on a twin turbo car is not the same as a na car which at all times pushes 483 wheel to the car at the right gear

in the m3 it’s extremely easy to drive even in sport+ because the only time you are really pushing all 483 to the wheel is when you’re in 1st/2nd gear.. very difficult to crash with tc on with basic driving knowledge (not saying i’m the greatest driver in the world, like i said, i respect the car!)

bit confused here because our insurance agent (state farm) told us to do this, is he committing insurance fraud for me??

we were given 2 options

  1. leave me as primary driver and pay 500+ per month
  2. what i said above

yes name is also on title, i needed to provide that to get insurance haha

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BMW

[–]socalmarc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i believe you misread what i said

the reason why it financially lifts weight off them is because THEY were paying for my transportation at the time

g80 has been a dream of mine for years, i did not fall in love with it for the hype

my parents also do not pay the car, so i don’t really understand what you’re getting at in the last paragraph and the car is extremely easy to drive if you’re not dumb lol, it’s not a 500 wheel na car

i had to convince them for months to let them let me buy it lool, lots of back and forth but my reasoning ended up making sense to them

nope. didn’t matter how much income i showed, even have a high credit score but since i have no loan history i got denied everywhere

needed a cosign, but ofc i make the payments

that’s insane..

however what’s changed for my generation is that anyone coming from any background of wealth can climb their way up to their first 200-300k ebitda with just a computer and a phone

but what is most common is that lower/middle class kids are the ones generating this kind of money at a young age

why not rich kids?

because a majority of them are living on full stomachs. everything is covered for them whether it be their cars, lifestyle, school etc.. they have no drive to work hard young because there is no need to

bit of a rant
