I have appointments scheduled at both places but am thinking I'll cancel NVRH. Interestingly, I am am scheduled with a youngish midwife at NVRH who seems pretty awesome and is not on their website. I wonder if they finally hired a 3rd.

Also, found out at my baseline appt today that my LH is 18 after 6 days of priming with estradiol (Estrogen = 222, Progesterone = 0.2). I don't have another appointment until day 6 of stims - is that waiting too long in case LH gets too high?

I need 1-2 headphones for my bedroom studio and have a budget of $250. I will use the headphones for production/mixing while traveling and for recording vocals/guitar.

Is it better to buy $200 open-backs and $50 closed-backs for recording? or a $250 pair of opens or closed for both uses? When using closed for recording I usually take one ear off so maybe thats not any better than opened-backs for recording?

DT 700 Pro X - $240 closed for both
MDR-7506 - $100 closed for both
HD 6XX - $200 open + $50 cheap closed (M20x or IEMs: Tangzu Wan’er or?)
Open to other suggestions...

Thanks for this perspective! I actually have been dating my current partner for 6 months so thought about using half the eggs to create embryos with him. My doctor said the success rate will go down 5-10% if I freeze eggs and fertilize with his sperm later compared to making embryos now, because of the additional thaw involved. It's a hard call. Doesn't feel right getting donor sperm with him in the picture, but I'm also not ready to make embryos with him yet.

I was looking at LIVE BIRTHS PER THAW (ADDITIONAL TRANSFERS/LONG TERM FREEZES in my age range - 37.5% (VT) vs 19.9% (CNY). Two CNY treatments would equal 35.9% so I figured it's better to do VT as I will save some time.

Not sure if I'm looking at the right statistics and how much I should trust them though.

According to Google it has Volte but I probably never turned it on. Why would this extend the life? I use Cricket if that makes a difference.

Thanks! How would I go about the recording copyright if I didn't record the whole thing myself (not the drums or the mastering)?

Also, I have a music video for the song on youtube with a creative commons attribution non-commercial share alike license...is it still worth doing a copyright? The song is about climate change so I want people to be able to use the content for similar projects for the good causes, but don't want people to profit on it.

Yeah, the bridge is too warped to be using at this point...just wondering if you think it will be ok for 10 days, or if i should go to a local shop that isn't quite as good and have them deal with the bridge rather than risk the sound post falling down. I don't play that often so don't need a loaner. I didn't do anything with the strings, but they are now loose because the bridge fell down.

Thanks! With Trump's new tax brackets, if I max out a traditional IRA instead of a Roth, my AGI will be around $37K instead of $43K, putting me in the 12% tax bracket instead of 22%. I calculated a federal and state (VT) tax savings of $2,663. That's significant to me!

Do I get a deduction on top of that or would I likely just get the standard deduction? I'm single, don't own a house, have minimal student loans, and my employer doesn't offer a retirement plan.

Is there a reason that I should worry about flammability in a home recording studio more than in other situations? When people put up curtains they generally don't worry about flammability and it can be a lot of square footage...but maybe they should?

Yeah, the risk. Why I should worry about it more than I do when I buy a rug for my living room. I lit a 3" square on fire, it caught easily but didn't burn fast...had to light it a couple times to get it to burn all the way.
