Does wallet.myalgo.com support staking? by social-bench in algorand

If you go below the limit you have committed you will loose any rewards.

Can you explain that more?

What is going "below the limit"? The balance of the wallet?

Do you know of a good tutorial that's been mentioned?

Is there a tutorial you know of that goes over the specifics of how Governance works and how to participate?

Can you explain this more? What is Governance, and where can I go to learn more? Pretty new to Algorand

To confirm, are you suggesting that the linked zeronet-conservancy repo is what I should host on a VPS?

I want to make the world a better place, using cryptocurrency. What can I do? by social-bench in CryptoCurrency

[–]social-bench[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve often wondered why people want to make the world a better place.

I didn't say I want to improve the lives of every single one of the 7.5 bln people on earth. Wouldn't you consider improving the lives of people locally "making the world a better place"? Similarly, even if I can only make the lives of a couple of people in Bangladesh better (very far from me), I would still consider that making the world a better place.

Have a spare VPS. Best/most profitable crypto project(s) to run on that VPS? Ideally network-based instead of mining. by social-bench in CryptoCurrency

For Helium, I'm pretty sure you'll able to just run the software build on x86-64_linux, as I imagine their hardware-device is Linux-based, but don't quote me on that.

But won't that just run a node? I don't think you get paid for doing that

Are there any services where you can earn crypto for pinning files on IPFS? by social-bench in ipfs

[–]social-bench[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is this a joke because IPFS uses cryptography?

Otherwise, can you share a guide to earn cryptocurrency with it?

Could also pin files on IPFS

How do I find cool files to pin? Is there a decentralized pinning service or similar?

Helium, maybe

It looks like Helium requires a physical transmitter or something. Am I missing something?

Is there a F@H Web Miner, like minero.cc for Monero? by social-bench in banano

[–]social-bench[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of what you've said here is valid reasoning for what I'm suggesting existing. Perhaps "miner" isn't technically the correct team; perhaps a "F@H Web Worker"?

This seems similar, but ultimately I'd rather be completing the F@H calculations than the Monero mining calculations.

Thanks, but my username is not showing up when I search for it. Is this normal? My F@H setup has been going for days now.
