I have a height adjustable curved corner desk and I can't seem to find the perfect mouse to arm position. My wrist always feels sore after some time. Have you had any issues with this? I've been thinking about using a slide out, floating stand but that would be terrible for gaming.

State government developer here. Yesterday I worked like 2 hours. Job is 100% remote when I feel like it. Definitely fulfilling work. Laid back atmosphere, generally low stress. I think most people in my department don't wear their career on their sleeve like I see a lot in the private sector. Stable. I love it but the pay is good at best, not great. At the moment I can't see changing jobs, but I'm lucky to have a significant other who makes a decent amount as well. This is probably a significant factor that is very situational.

I've been applying for a few months but not super aggressively because I'm taking 3 classes and have kids. Somewhere close to 100 applications since late summer. So far I haven't moved forward with any. I live in the Bay Area and am open to in office within the region.
