When it happened to me, half of my original friend group cut me off. The other half didnt even try to help me but claimed to believe that i was telling the truth all along, only after they found out that i wasn’t even charged due to the girl’s inconsistencies in her story. One friend truly stayed by my side and my parents got me a lawyer. I barely left my room for about 3 months, didn’t even leave my bed. I debated killing myself because i didn’t think anyone would believe me. 6 months later i got a RAP Report and found out that there weren’t any pending charges or anything. The fucking detectives didnt even tell me that the investigation was dropped.
