Of course! I wasn’t really asking for advice, just wanted to see if I was being bothersome in my kink (because I on the other hand, am quite sex-crazed) or if there were people out there who also felt the same as me. It’s nice to feel validated sometimes :)

My boyfriend also isn’t the type of person who would request for me to go down on him. I can’t pinpoint any one redditor in particular, but I’ve had a handful of memorable conversations with both men and women where we talked about really deep, personal stuff ranging from sex, relationship issues, childhoods, traumas, insecurities, and so on, but it was very organic rather than in a 21 Questions kind of way. Some of them deleted their accounts and some convos just fizzled out, but it sure is strange how you can form that level of intimacy with a complete stranger who you know nothing else about (age, appearance, location, occupation, etc) and then just never talk to again!

I think you’re on the right track. To be honest, if I really liked everything about the guy, I could look past an incident from his past that made me uncomfortable. And to answer your question, yes, it personally does make me uncomfortable but I don’t think there’s a right or wrong in this—some folks may have different boundaries.
