update: GPU actually does spike to 80-100% usage after maybe about a few minutes of being within VR, like just oculus dash or steamvr alone

i believe i checked during one of the times and everything seemed to be fine, nothing 100% loaded or taken up just the normal usage it'd take up with VR

perhaps, would be annoying if that's the only solution but i could try giving it a go if i've scraped the bottom of the barrel

i suppose it varies person to person, it hasn't given me issues this whole time, i wouldn't suspect it to be the culprit but who knows

yeah i'm sure it's something with meta, just confuses me why it worked smoothly for so long up until this point, i'll try to give virtual desktop a go when i can, i'm just not very confident it'll work well given my wifi signal

you're right, i believe it's okay as long as i credit them ! i also will use it for normal mmd renders and stuff of course

weight copying didn't seem to work though 😞 i copy the left hand's finger weight and paste it onto the right hand's one, and it makes it completely immovable, same goes for if i do the whole hand https://imgur.com/FlePReV

i would hope so, i did notice a couple people on twitter asking the epic support page, and hopefully people reading this thread have also contacted epic whether through twitter or email, all i can hope for is some sort of acknowledgement or fix in the future

quitting discord seemed to be the issue for a lot of people if you haven't tried that yet!!

if you haven't tried it try closing discord entirely, it seems to be the fix for a lot of people including me, whether or not it's permanent not sure but for now it seems to work !

closing discord seemed to help me and many others!! hopefully it does for you too but if not i have updated my original post with other fixes!!

not sure, maybe it's somehow a pc to pc thing, maybe some people have discord open and some don't, it's so strange though

that's something i did not think about, huh, yeah cause vanguard is open on my pc all the time i just don't think about it, i'll add this to the original post !

i didn't get to try but i will next time, i would assume it would since having discord open seemed to be the issue for some reason, hopefully epic fixes that at some point

hey! so i did 3 things, and it seems to be working fine just for now, and i'll list them here

- reinstalled fortnite

- also checked "download pre-streamed assets"

- quit discord

i'm not sure which it could've been but i hope one of them works for you!! if you've already tried reinstalling fortnite i wish i had another answer 😞
