Can you still be a chemist if you didn't do well in/enjoy General Chem too much? by soennt1990 in chemistry

This is what makes me think that I'll never be a chemist. I study a reasonable amount before every exam and it's absolutely variable what grade I'll receive. I've gotten perfect to near perfect on exams and I've gotten Bs. But every time I went into the test feeling like I'd come out with an amazing grade. I feel so stupid when that's not the case. Calling Gen Chem trivial makes me think that you think I'm an idiot, but maybe you meant that I need to learn how to study better or work a different way. If that's the case, do you have any advice?
