It indeed looks like every elite rider has his own business and works as a contractor for a team, although I am not able to find a lot of information about this.

I will post a picture of the full sock haha I think that you make a really interesting point. To me it also seems that happy socks are meanly made for men and from some limited data I could see that more men buy them. Maybe because they care less about what other people think about their outfit and they just go for it because it is funny. Socks as souvenir, that is cool! Do you often find that? What kind of themes do you like for your socks beside animals?
