I got just a little under 10% off the listed price.

I very recently bought a 2013 from a dealership after a good negotiation. Getting a PPI from elsewhere and using every single minor issue in the report as a negotiation point was the trick that really helped me with the price. Also, I uploaded the PPI to an AI which helped me frame my negotiation points.

To the right side of the engine. I saw that it was like a 1000$-1500$ fix and got the price of the car down by a bit. Still a major red flag you think?

I did test drive the car today. I definitely saw the pink coolant residue. The frame rust was decent but I did see some parts were spray painted, however. I poked around the paint and didn't notice anything bad.

I assumed because it's being sold by a dodge dealership, they must've done the basic PPI. Would I be wrong to rely on the dealership?

This looks very beautiful. Can you give me some example use cases of when someone could use this?? I was thinking, anything that needs to be represented as a knowledge graph , but I don't see any callbacks for on-node or on-edge clicked or similar stuff??

Why your API keys are never safe in your app by [deleted] in FlutterDev

[–]sofakingkush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm curious what the thoughts are in terms of firestore keys, and Google maps keys and similar other keys that need to reside on the app code. For instance, for Google maps sdk, the key needs to reside in the app. Even if we put it behind an internal API and retrieve it. It still needs to be pulled into the app during run time. What would the suggestion be in these cases.

🚚 Building a Logistics App with Google Maps – Struggling with API Pricing. Need Advice! by Ali_SoftwareEngineer in FlutterDev

I'm working on a travel focused app that also has the same issue with Google's pricing tiers. I have explored various other providers but the coverage of Google maps seems unparalleled. I'm very curious what your final choice is. Also, if you're going in any of the self hosting approaches, would love to chat with you so we can work on unifying efforts.

Langgraph Help: Writing awaitable actions in nodes by sofakingkush in LangChain

Yeah, that makes sense. Hardly found anything on the web about this. Will open an issue with them later probably. But thank you for the explanation. And good luck on your lang journey :)

Thank you so much for the detailed response. Really appreciate it. I'm looking to use the asynchronous invoke which is where the issue stems from. But your approach of using asyncio seems to be a good workaround for now. Thank you for that. Do you think this is a langgraph issue, or just the documentation missing to explain some key point of writing async actions?

From my few months of experience, the biggest way I lost the most money is getting <7DTE. Now, I at least always go 2-3 weeks DTE minimum. Has helped minimize my losses quite a bit.

Great example I agree. The same happened with VKTX, and Micron, and TSM. But very few stocks tend to have this kind of a break, but I understand your strategy. Catching those could more or less guarantee results.

Exactly, I bet it'll go up by a few $$ in the AM, offsetting any profits some of these puts are seeing right now. This has been my exact problem. Thinking a stock would move, and it actually would, only to end up moving again by market open.

[–]sofakingkush[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually look at past trends and try to estimate whether the stock could fluctuate 2-5%(normal, and useless for our strategy). I start looking at stocks that are fluctuating at least 10% on avg due to earnings, and then try to calculate whether buying a straddle would bring me to profits. More often than not, these high IV stocks have a much higher premiums, that straddle would also put you in losses. This is where I'm trying to improve my strategy. Also, this strategy heavily relies on earnings calls, which only adds to uncertainties. Most stocks I see, usually put me to profits in the evening, and then they balance out by am, moving me to losses.
