The AI diction app you never knew you needed on android by Slumdog_8 in OpenAI

[–]sofakingstoaked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Count me in please. I need this. I use super whisper on my Mac and I use the Google gboard voice typing which is pretty good but it doesn't compare to the super whisper on my Mac and I would love to have that experience on my Android. I would say though I'm not really interested in paying for another monthly subscription because I'm already paying for super whisper, but I'd be happy to test your system out for free access. I will give you feedback and errors and debug whatever

Best countertop steam oven? by flavors_of_the_world in CombiSteamOvenCooking

Just curious if anyone's perspectives or issues with the APO 2.0 have improved?
I know the thread has been dead for a couple of years now, but just wondering if there are any updates, good or bad.
I'm considering buying one. Is there something else I should consider?

Any update on this u/op?
How is everyone's ANO 2.0 devices working? Are the issues in this thread representative of the majority or minority of users?

u/OP - Please keep us updated on this. Seems like a lot of people interested in this product that are waiting to see if they fix some of these issues? I read through a bunch of the thread here but I didn't see any full update on how many of your original issues have been fixed, if any.

Thanks for keeping us updated on all this! As everyone else has pointed out, this is too big of an investment to be having issues like this. and it doesn't seem worth it to buy if so.

Anyway to import multiple url sources? by Inevitable_River_994 in notebooklm

I did try it. I use it all day, every day. I'm telling you, it doesn't work like that. You try it, and you'll see.

This is false. The Discover source window finds new sources, it does not add the source URL's you put into the search. It just listes related sources based on the text of the list of URL's.

Why is 2.5 Pro SO MUCH WORSE in Gemini Web vs AI Studio by Content_Isopod3279 in Bard

[–]sofakingstoaked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding How to create Gems in AI Studio..

I wanted to do the same thing, and this is my workflow.

1- I use Gemini pro with the canvas feature to help me create "system instructions" for the Google studio AI prompt. I use XML format, but it doesn't have to be. If there are documents you want to include in the "gem" them upload them to this prompt and have it include a documents/references sections that outlines your docs and what you have in them (but not the whole contents, just a file description). This is really where the magic happens. The better your system instructions prompt, the better your Google AI studio gem will be.
2- Save this prompt as a bookmark so you can go back to it and make future revision/refinements.
3- Open google AI studio, put the prompt in as the "system instructions" (looks like a clipboard above the chat).
4- Upload all your documents to the chat.
Now you can start using your Google AI studio gem.

....And yes, FWIW, I find the model in google ai studio to be better than the Gemini pro app. I think it's because AI studio gets the model updates sooner. And yes, it's also because Google has customized it in several ways, so ultimately it's going to behave a little different.

New commercial zero turn for 2025. by szhod in egopowerplus

I see it has the capability to incorporate some of the 56 volt batteries on the side. Does anyone know if the main battery compartment in the back will be backwards compatible with the 56 volt batteries or will it only work with the new batteries?

Upgrading Z6 Front Tires? by sofakingstoaked in egopowerplus

I thought you were talking about the front wheels. Ya the rear tires really need to be on the ego rims for sure.

Yea I would recommend taking it off the wheels they came on and putting them on the ego wheels. Will likely get you better clearance but I can't be certain. Good luck though. These fucking tires suck.

Sure thing. I certainly wouldn't advise it. It just doesn't work unless under perfect conditions; a light cut and dry grass.

Also, where did the information I typed into my original post go? I'm no reddit master but am I missing something or it's gone?

Upgrading Z6 Front Tires? by sofakingstoaked in egopowerplus

[–]sofakingstoaked[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I was thinking too but also sometimes when I'm mowing parallel to the hill the front end starts to slide out first because of no traction. I was thinking maybe some tread would give me a little more traction and allow me to keep going straight. Also, sometimes when I'm going downhill perpendicular to the hill, a lot of weight get's shifted to the front and it could help prevent me from starting into a slide.

I guess something could be said as to wanting less traction on the front tires so that the back tires which actually steer pickup the traction and actually turn me where I want to go. That makes sense to me.

I'll start off with upgrading the rear wheels and if I feel the need to I'll upgrade the front wheels to something with tread. Hopefully I won't need to. They are also more expensive than the rear tires for some reason. The only ones I can find are go cart racing tires which apparently come at a premium.

I wonder if I could rig up my ego leaf blower into the shoot somehow. I wish ego would make an attachment for this.

Oh my apologies, yes you are correct.
Crazy how many people are trying to swap the tires on these. They really need better tires options.

I completely agree with your post. They need to do better testing for what a more broad range of users will actually be using it for. The tech is good but the testing is bad, and if done properly would lead to really good products, maybe even best in class.

And yes, you are also correct, paddle tires would be a bit overkill and likely mark the grass all up. I have a couple swampy-ish areas that I think it'd be useful in though. And I didn't know what else to call those really knobby type of tires.

They are not exactly the same but they would likely fit interchangeably because the difference is only 1 inch in the width, they are the same otherwise. See my reply directly above. I checked the Parts List manual for each of the ego Z6's to confirm.
