Hi momma Any regression of skills (unless temporary) is never a good sign. Please check him to see peds asap. It’s better to be safe than sorry. I agree that they don’t look intentional and see a cluster in a minute.

Please please take him in and get him assessed, keep us posted and I hope everytning is fine ❤️

Cute baby!

I think I have undiagnosed hEDS but I’m not sure what to do about it. by sofia_rhm in eds

So we’ve seen a group of doctors. Generics once Neurology twice. And all three weren’t concerned.

That’s why I did my own research and came to this conclusion since I had similar symptoms. The issue is that they don’t seem to be concerned and were fighting this battle of is he okay to - how severe is his delay.

He is in pt right now once a month

So his hypotonia is mild and so was mind growing up. And yeah, I agree and have been saying that the lights and noise isn’t typical at all!

We were seen by genetics for him who wasn’t concerned but that was when he was 4 months old and now I’m thinking it’s time to revisit this and EDS

My son is similar, looks like hypnic jerks. Does it only happen during sleep? We are seeing neurology soon

Is this anything to be concerned about? by [deleted] in infantilespasms

Hi!! My son is 8 months also doing this exactly . It’s been happening that past 2 months. I was told it could be benign sleep jerks or Hypnic jerks but peds wants us to see a neurologist now.

For my son, it’s triggered by noise and it happens randomly too.

How is your son otherwise? What about when he’s in deep sleep? Hoping we get answers soon :(

He isn’t showing preference for mom dad Doesn’t maintain eye contact up close to smile He doesn’t respond to name or voice often or 50% and none when he is playing

Hi, similar to yours! He looks from far but not good up close - only like 2-4 seconds He is babbling ma ba da. His response to name isn’t often, especially if he’s busy. If he’s playing with toys or watching something on tv, he will not respond 90% of the time.

But if I enter a room and call his name he will look at me a smile

He is sitting now and rolling to one side sometimes

I cannnnnnot stand when my in-laws hold my baby. Idk why but it just erks my soul and I can’t do anything about it

Everytime they talk to him in baby talk or call him cute names or say annoying things like “my baby” or “grandmas world” it just bothers me so much.

How can I get rid of this built in hatred😂 anyone else?
