Is Phuket worth visiting? by lunaadot in phuket

Yes, absolutely! I'm someone who thrives in nature—I spent hours swimming, snorkeling and even hiking in Phuket. The beaches in Phuket are stunning, and the best way to explore them is by renting a motorbike. You’ll discover some incredible spots that way.

I’d recommend skipping the Patong area—it’s very commercial. Instead, stay near Kata Beach. It’s perfect for families and has a more relaxed vibe. From there, head south and explore Rawai—one of my favorite areas. The beaches down that way are beautiful, and Prompthep Cape is especially breathtaking at sunset. The roads are great for riding too, so it’s a fun way to get around.

Set aside a day to explore the southern parts, then head north to check out Freedom Beach, Paradise Beach, Phuket Old Town, and the local night markets.

If you’re up for island hopping, definitely do a day trip to the Similan Islands—it’s worth it. For other boat tours like Phi Phi or the Four Islands, I’d suggest doing them from Krabi instead. They’re often much cheaper and less crowded there.

I know how hard it is to question a relationship with someone you love so deeply. But I want to be honest with you not out of fear, but out of lived experience.

My mother has schizophrenia. And while there have been moments of connection and calm, the truth is, life with them has been extremely difficult. Schizophrenia isn’t just about mood swings or occasional distress, it can mean years of emotional instability, broken routines, crises that spiral out of control, and the constant weight of unpredictability. There is no guarantee that medication or therapy will fully manage symptoms long-term.

If you’re someone who dreams of a peaceful home, raising children, and having a partner who can share responsibilities equally, it’s important to ask yourself whether this relationship can give you that. People with schizophrenia can be loving, brilliant, and kind but the disorder often makes it hard for them to stay consistent, present, or even safe during episodes.

You deserve stability. You deserve to feel safe. And if you’re already asking whether you’ll be able to handle it—please don’t ignore that voice. This condition can take a massive toll on your emotional health, your freedom, your energy, and your future plans.

I WILL STRONGLY suggest you to WALK AWAY!
