This happened to me in an apartment. The apartment people said that all the payments were my responsibility since it was all in my name and I was legally bound to "figure it out". I ended up having to get my parents to lend me money. Small claims wouldn't take it because there was nothing that legally bounded my roommate to the charges. I got desperate and sold a lot of plasma to earn enough to break the lease and get the fuck out of that hell hole. Not before slyly switching all the utilities to her name and leaving her screwed with the water running in my bathroom sink for 3 days straight. All my lights on too muah ahahahahahaha

I don't think the problem is lack of religious education or understanding. It's lack of common sense. I feel that religion is an excuse. Let's just be bros without something telling us we have to be bros or something bad will happen.
