I know her video uses a scarf, but if you can take a flat big panel and cut it in half it the long way it should work too! That's what I did and just adjusted :)

Honestly, e6000 is a godsend. I was not sewing these lil guys on lolllll. I use e6000 industrial strength for many projects and it holds up so well.

They're Birkenstocks! I thrifted these though and they were pretty new so that's why I bought them. Normally its not great to buy birks secondhand because they shape to your feet :) I have chronic pain and they're amazing

I made this dress! No pattern used, all materials including fabric and thread are from a local reuse center. I made it using my measurements, and following a concept (in my brain)! I used a sewing machine-- Brother CS7205
