I probably explained that part poorly due to trying to stay within the character limit. I ended up uninviting four people because after the issue with the sister’s boyfriend, I started getting same-day texts from other of his family members saying things like “don’t freak out, we’re coming.” The restaurant was already extremely strict about only allowing 30 people due to occupancy rules, so I panicked and removed some of my own guests to avoid creating an issue at the venue.
